Sky Niblett – Gainesville
An under the radar TE in 6A who is quietly coming off a very impressive junior season, Niblett is a good athlete who showed some impressive ball skills last year. He was a reliable tight end option in the passing game last year as he caught 30 passes for 450 yards and an impressive11 receiving touchdowns. He was a scoring machine last year, finding the end-zone in nine different games last year. A good route-runner, Niblet stands at 6-foot-0 220-pound and should see even more passes come his way next year as a senior. Niblet is also a standout blocker who does a great job of blocking in space and locking on to defenders, driving them backwards. He plays the game hard and does his job constantly on every down. He’s one of the most reliable pass-catching tight ends returning in 6A this upcoming season, looking to help lead Gainesville back to the state championship game. He’s a 6A tight end to keep a close eye on.
Gabe Bobbitt – South Paulding
A pass-catching tight end/wide receiver with plenty of size and ball skills at 6-foot-4 225-pounds, Bobbitt may not have lit up the stat sheet last year, but his talent was easy to see. A recent Austin Peay commitment, Bobbitt has a chance to turn his numbers around this year. Last season, Bobbitt caught 14 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns. With his size and natural ability, look for Bobbit to see a lot more passes come his way as a senior this season. He showed off D1 talent last year and has a chance to do it again every Friday night this fall. He’s a willing blocker as well so look for him to make a big impact in the South Paulding offense this season. He’s a true weapon who will only get better and better over time. He’s without a doubt a prospect to know about in the fall.
Xavier Tiller Xavier Tiller 6'4" | 210 lbs | TE Langston Hughes | 2026 State GA – Langston Hughes
With star tight end Jelani Thurman off to Ohio State, the returning 6A state champion Panthers and Buckeye QB Air Noland will be looking for another pass-catching tight end to use in this season’s pass-happy offense. Of course, that’s where Tiller comes into play. A big target at 6-foot-5 205-pounds with an incredibly high ceiling, Tiller didn’t make a real impact in the passing game last year, but that should change in a big way this fall. He’s a breakout tight end to know this fall with the potential to have a monster season due to his size potential. The Georgia Bulldogs have already extended an offer to the rising sophomore with other offers likely coming his way as well. He’s had an excellent summer, and if he can prove to be a reliable pass-catcher and a mismatch against smaller defenders, look for Nolan to look Tiller’s way often this fall.
