Chavez has had a very explosive start to his senior campaign, putting up big time numbers on the ground heading into week three. Through the first two weeks, he has rushed for 321 yards, averaging 5.4 yards per touch and has scored 5 touchdowns on the ground. He is a low to the ground compact runner that can gain tough yards inside, while showing enough juice and short area twitch to bounce it outside when needed and flashes good vision in the open field, forcing bad angles and has cutback abilities. Look for Chavez to potentially enter into our rankings in our next update as he continues on this Senior year tear.
Brennan has been playing all over the field for Emmett, and has shown that he can do damage from the slot, outside or in the backfield. Second in the charge for the states top rusher statistically, he has amassed 300+ rushing yards in two games, with a average of over 10 YPC. A true YAC guy that can get seperation in the clear and turn on the burners, he is a dynamic athlete out of the backfield that can make people miss in space, gain tough yards inside and does the most with his possessions. Brennan is a D-III+ athlete that should continue to gather D3 and NAIA interest through his Senior season.
Harris has been one of the more productive running backs across Idaho for the past couple seasons, and his last ride seems to be no different. Checking in at the top ten within the position in our rankings, he is a bit undersized but has a strong build, runs hard and does not shy away from contact at the first or second level while providing some elusiveness in the open field and is a patient runner that waits for blocks to develop before hitting that second gear. Through the first two weeks, he has erupted for 264 yards on the ground, while averaging over 9 yards per carry, and getting into the end-zone twice.
Lattimer checks in just inside our top ten at the running back position within our PRZ Rankings, and has been a explosive rusher for Kuna so far this season. Lattimer has a very physical running style, looking for contact in the hole and shows strong contact balance, body control and is tough to bring down in the open field due to lower body power and leg drive through contact. He has a nice initial burst through the first level, runs behind his pads and always looks to finish runs. Checking in as the current states #4 rusher statistically, he has rushed for 260 yards and scored five times for Kuna, averaging over the 5 yards per carry mark.
