Caden Nelms is a 6’1, 170 pound senior cornerback with 4.7 speed in the 40 yard dash. He bench presses 260 pounds and squats 360 pounds and has a 3.0 GPA. His strengths are his awareness and aggressiveness with the love to hit his opponents. Caden looks up to cornerback coach Travis Sandifer. He shows his leadership on the field bringing energy to the team.
What Caden loves about playing football is the progress he shows by the work he puts in. His personal goal for this season is enjoying his senior season and taking it all in with a team goal of winning a state championship. His mindset is what makes him the player that he is. Caden’s favorite pass coverage is the zone because it allows him to be able to move around and play for the ball. His specialty is his mindset and not settling for anything but the best. Caden wants to be successful in everything that he does.
I feel that Caden is very coachable with his team always coming first.
