Montrel Canion Montrel Canion 6'3" | 240 lbs | DL Davie Western | 2025 FL , DE- Dillard High c/o 25
6’2 240lbs
Canion was part of a stout defense that shut out Deerfield Beach on Friday. Canion was very active from his defensive end position in the game, and registered 5 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and a sack! Canion shows good initial quickness off the snap, smart and doesn’t get caught out of position, plays with good hands and power at the point of attack.
Brody Bellomo, LB- Cambridge Christian c/o 25
5’9 190lbs
Bellomo had to heck of a game for the Lancers last Friday where he helped Cambridge Christian shut out American Collegiate Academy. In that game Bellomo registered 7 tackles, 4 QB hurries, one pass defense, and a punt block. Unfortunately, Bellomo doesn’t have any Hudl film to evaluate, but is a player to watch out for this season.
Mathis Roberts, DB- Gibbs High c/o 25
6’2 187lbs
Roberts is a big time dual sport athlete out of Gibbs High located in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Roberts has all the traits and physical ability that you’re looking for at the corner position. He’s long, fast, has a lot of natural abilities, and ball skills. He started the season off on a good note registering 3 tackles 1 INT, and one passed break-up.
Dylan Simmons, LB- Lake Wales High c/o 24
6’0 210lbs
Simmons is an under the radar player out of powerhouse Lake Wales High. Simmons played well Friday night, registering 6 tackles and 2 tackles for loss. Simmons plays with good instincts, can play out in space and very physical against the run. Coaches need to check him out.
