Auburn HS: Jaylord Bielza c/o 2024 or Baylen Erdmann c/o 2026. The official starter for this Auburn team hasn’t been announced just yet but these two guys are battling it out for the job. Jaylord got some time at the quarterback position last year and delivered some nice passes to his targets. Braylen is an incoming sophomore who is looking to get some playing time as well. We will see who gets the start.
Auburn Mountainview HS: Elijah Baird Elijah Baird 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Auburn-Mountainview | 2025 State WA c/o 2025. Elijah was the starter last year for this squad and played pretty well for only being a sophomore. He is headed into his junior year and had some time during the off-season to perfect his craft. He has a quick release so he can deliver passes before the defense has the time to react. He is confident in the pocket and can accurately place the ball when throwing it 10, 20, 30, or even 40 yards.
Auburn Riverside HS: Andrew Wold c/o 2025. Andrew is a solid quarterback and showed tremendous potential on the field as a sophomore. He delivered accurate deep balls, helping his receivers make big plays. He is extremely confident inside the pocket, keeping his patience if the pocket is collapsing and is still able to deliver a solid pass.
Todd Beamer HS: Dominic Simpson c/o 2024. Dominic was the starting quarterback over the last couple seasons and is headed into his senior season this year. Todd Beamer HS runs the ball quite a bit so Dominic doesn’t showcase what his arm can do much, but he is a very athletic player on the court and is a threat with the ball in his hands.
Thomas Jefferson HS: I have not been able to locate who will be starting for Thomas Jefferson HS but last season they did a lot of wildcat formations with one player and had another one who was the main passing general. It will be interesting to see what they decide to do this season.
Kentlake HS: Jacob McConaghy c/o 2024. Jacob has an awesome deep throw, having the ability to place the ball in his receivers targets when they are going full speed, at the top of their route. He is confident while in the pocket and has a great awareness as well. He could have a great season, if he continues to work on his overall game.
Kent-Meridian HS: Jayden Saelee Jayden Saelee 5'10" | 185 lbs | QB Kent-Meridian | 2024 State WA c/o 2024. Jayden could very well be the most athletic quarterback within this conference. He is able to extend plays with his legs, making defensive lineman miss in the backfield to give his receivers more time to get open. He moves well with the ball tucked in his arms and an open field ahead of him, but also can deliver a tight spiral to his target. I’m excited to see what Jayden does this season.
