Lynden Christian HS: Hollis Owen Hollis Owen 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Lynden Christian | 2025 State WA c/o 2025, Brody Bouwman c/o 2024, Mick Owen c/o 2025. Lynden Christian will have a new look offense, in a way. Kade Eldridge who carried the ball the most for the Lyncs is in Southern California attending USC. Hollis, Brody, and Mick will most likely being the ones carrying the rock. Hollis is a big framed RB who stands around 6’2″ 205 pounds. He is a power back who can run over a lot of defenders and will have a breakout year this season. Brody is around the same size and is a force on the football field. He will put his body on the line for extra yardage, or a tackle. Mick is the speed back of them all. He will get out in the open field and he will be extremely hard to bring down. The Lyncs should be just fine with these 3.
Blaine HS: Colby Shipp c/o 2025, Jaiden Paez c/o 2025. Colby was a top returning playmaker in the entire Northwest 1A Conference. He uses his speed nicely, getting to the outside edge and out-running opposing players often. With a lot of the key Borderites playmakers graduating, this squad will in search of new players to step forward.
Meridian HS: Joshtyn Elmer c/o 2024, Landen Downey Landen Downey 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Meridian | 2025 State WA c/o 2025. You could argue that there is no better running back in the Northwest 1A Conference than Elmer. He is electric on the field, making plays in the open field smoothly. He can either use his speed to get the outside edge or run straight towards the opposing defenders to go through them. Downey is a quick RB who can catch the ball at a high rate out of the backfield. These two work very well off each other.
Nooksack Valley HS: Colton Lentz Colton Lentz 6'2" | 210 lbs | ATH Nooksack Valley | 2025 State WA c/o 2025. Lentz could also be the best running back in the entire conference. Last year as just a sophomore he was VERY dominating. He rushed for over 1,500 yards and tallied up 18 touchdowns on the ground. He is truly a special player and talent that only comes around so often. He makes a ton of plays on both sides of the ball and is able to carry this team to a victory if needed.
Mount Baker HS: Dylan Moa c/o 2025. Dylan was a running back before last season started but switched over to the tight end position due to the Mountaineers having a very solid RB. Moa was a force on the defensive side of the ball, being one of the best tacklers in the NWC. It seems as if he will be switching back to the RB position and will look to have a breakout season.
