In this new series of articles, I will be posting positional breakdowns by conference so you can get to know who might be taking the field next season. For this article, I will be talking about the quarterbacks within the WESCO 3A South Conference.

Shorewood HS: Tyler Giles c/o 2025. Tyler is going into his junior year but this will be his first season as the teams starting quarterback. He stands around 5'10” and is quick on his feet when scrambling outside the pocket. He's tough to bring down and makes accurate throws. He should have a solid season under center for Shorewood.

Edmonds Woodway HS: [player_tooltip player_id='915336' first='Steven' last='Warren'] JR c/o 2024. Steven is one of my favorite QB's to watch. He is electric with the ball in his hands and makes big time plays. He has a fantastic deep ball, being able to place it perfectly into his receivers hands when they are in full stride. He is going to have a massive senior year.

Lynnwood HS: Ray Siharath c/o 2025. Ray was the starting quarterback for the Royals last season and grew a lot throughout the year. He has been making his arm more rounded and he is very athletic on his feet. I think he will grow quite a bit since last year and take a big positive step in right direction.

Monroe HS: [player_tooltip player_id='115345' first='Blake' last='Springer'] c/o 2024. Blake is a big QB who stands around 6'2" tall and weighs around 215 pounds. Springer can confidently step into the pocket to deliver fantastic throws. He is patient while his WR's run their routes, allowing them to get to the top of their route going full speed.

Mountlake Terrace HS: Matthew Meadows c/o 2024. Mountlake Terrace likely won't be throwing the ball often, at least that's my assumption. With [player_tooltip player_id='643413' first='Zaveon' last='Jones'] in the backfield, he should be seeing a lot of the touches on the offensive side of the football.

Snohomish HS: David Hammer c/o 2025. His brother Kale was the starting QB last season and was a very solid quarterback. He delivered quick, accurate passes while sitting in the pocket. David will now get his shot at the starting position where he will look to show the state what he is capable of.

Shorecrest HS: [player_tooltip player_id='356516' first='Jaylen' last='Viars'] was the starter last season but the star QB will be playing for Bothell next season. The Scots will be in search of another starting QB before the season begins.
