Capital HS: Nolan Lahn c/o 2024. From what I have heard from players on the team, Nolan will be taking the helm at quarterback for Capital. With Angus Hubbard playing for Pacific Lutheran University, the team will be looking for a new leader at the quarterback. It will be interesting to see how Nolan does on the field.
Central Kitsap HS: Riley Kolda c/o 2025. Riley will likely be the starter for this Central Kitsap team that is looking to bounce back from last season. Kolda is a solid athlete, being able to move nicely with his feet when he scrambles outside the pocket.
Gig Harbor HS: Benji Park Benji Park 6'5" | 225 lbs | ATH Gig Harbor | 2024 State WA c/o 2024 or Tyler Stowers c/o 2024. Gig Harbor is another team that is in search of a new play-calling with Will Landrum graduating after last season. From what I’ve heard from players, Tyler Stowers will be the starting quarterback with 6’5″ ATH Benji Park Benji Park 6'5" | 225 lbs | ATH Gig Harbor | 2024 State WA taking some snaps in the wildcat formation.
North Thurston HS: Nathan Ung c/o 2026 or Zach Peddy c/o 2024. Zach was the starting quarterback but with Nathan coming over from River Ridge, the Rams now have a competition on who will be the starter come week 1. Nathan is calm in the pocket and delivers great strikes to his targets, he has big time potential. Zach is a lefty quarterback who has a big arm that can sling passes 20/30+ yards down the field.
Peninsula HS: Kaden Munkres c/o 2024 or Mana Smythe c/o 2025. Peninsula has yet to name a starter at the quarterback publicly, just yet. From what I have heard from some players, Kaden and Mana are the two battling it out for a starting position. Mana has a big arm, from what I have seen from his JV film.
River Ridge HS: Darian Harper Darian Harper 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB River Ridge | 2025 State WA c/o 2025. Darian is one of the most electric quarterbacks in the entire state. Not only can he can roll out to either side and still deliver accurate passes but he can also use his legs to gain positive yardage and is athletic enough to keep evading defenders. He’s going to be one of the most exciting guys to watch next year.
Timberline HS: Jacob Nadeau c/o 2025. Jacob was the starter to start the season last year but suffered an unfortunate shoulder injury that caused him to miss the rest of the season. Nadeau is also a star baseball player for Timberline and showed his shoulder was 100% healthy during the baseball season last year. He’s a dual threat QB who can make plays happen with his legs and is also surrounded by a ton of athletic playmakers. Nadeau should have a great year.
Yelm HS: Damian Aalona Damian Aalona 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Yelm | 2024 State WA c/o 2024. Damian helped lead this Yelm team to the 3A state championship and he showed tremendous growth on the field throughout the year. He accurately places the ball in his receivers when they are going full stride and can also use his legs. Aalona has a ton of targets around him on the offensive side once again, so I expect him to put up big numbers.
