Here is a look at three Garden City Prospects who are two seniors and one junior who have dreams of playing college football
Ethen Allen Ethen Allen 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Garden City | 2024 State KS , ATH, 5’11”, 175, ‘24
Allen is a solid football player who can play multiple positions. He could play safety, corner, tailback, slot receive, you name it. He will have an impact on special teams and is playmaker. He has plus speed and moves well in all directions. He has one offer from an in-state DII program.
Andrew Moreno, OL, 5’9”, 250, ‘24
Moreno is a short and stalky center who is really strong. He will help open up a lot of running lanes for Allen. He has a quick snap and awesome pad level. He could also be an option to play guard as he is quick enough to pull. Moreno has been used on the defensive line as well, but in my opinion is future is brighter on the offensive side of the ball.
Mario Ruiz Mario Ruiz 5'8" | 185 lbs | RB Garden City | 2025 State KS , ATH, 5’8”, 190, ‘25
Ruiz got the majority of early carries for Garden City. He is shifty, has strong legs and follow his blockers. He is a smart running back who can also be used as a weapon in the passing game. He also looks like he would be a solid option to return kicks at the college level. He is not afraid on unload and run over would-be tacklers. The Buffs may lean on Ruiz for the bulk of their offensive production He is just a junior so college coaches should put him in memory banks.
