Sekope Wallace: OL || 6’5 || 295lbs || East HS || c/o 2024
Skill Set/Fit: Wallace is a physical player with a thick build that plays the Tackle position in East’s option offense. Shows explosion as a run blocker with strength and leg drive. In pass protection, he can set his base, give initial contact and sustain feet and balance. Wallace has the size and movement to play in along the interior in a zone blocking scheme.
Mack Hixon: HB || 5’10 || 195lbs || Orem HS || c/o 2024
Skill Set/Fit: Hixon is an athletic player that plays the running back position in the Tiger’s offense. Between the tackles, he can pick, slide, and accelerate to the hole. Get behind his shoulder pads and finish runs. Has the speed to turn the corner and accelerate on outside runs. Hixon has the athletic ability to play in a Spread Option offense.
River Matthews: DB || Orem HS || c/o 2024
Matthews is an athletic player with a lean build that plays the free safety in the Tiger’s defense. Has fluid hip turn and smooth back pedal ability. Shows he can fill the hole in run support and show vision, range and awareness in zone coverage. Matthews has the athletic ability to play safety in a zone coverage scheme.
Sam Tuai: DL || 6’0 || East HS || c/o 2024
Skill Set/Fit: Tuai is a physical player with a thick build that along the interior on the Leopard’s defensive line. Against the run, he shows strength at the POA to control drive blocks. Hand speed to grab, set up and shed blocks. As a pass rusher, he shows burst to get upfield and push the pocket. Lateral pursuit to from snap to whistle. Tuai has the size and movement to play along the interior in 4-3 defensive scheme.
Marcus Loertscher: ATH || 6’0 || 150lbs || East HS || c/o 2024
Skill Set/Fit: Loertscher is an athletic player with a lean athletic build that plays both sides of the ball for the Leopards. On offense, he has the speed get separation, vision and concentration as a receiver. Defensively, he has fluid hips and smooth back pedal to transition. Loertscher has the athletic ability to play defensive back in a man/zone coverage scheme.
