Josh Ringer Josh Ringer 6'1" | 190 lbs | RB East Central | 2024 State IN – East Central – RB – 6’1″ 200lbs – 2024
Sometimes, players who step on the field are simply better than everyone else they compete against, and that’s been the case for Ringer his entire career. Friday, he took that to another level. A player coming off of a year of 2800 scrimmage yards and 42 total TDs, got better this summer. Ringer was unstoppable on Friday and felt like he scored every time he touched the ball. He had an impressive diving grab in the endzone for a TD as well as all he added on the ground. 6 TDs on the night for Ringer, but what’s more impressive is he only needed 2 Quarters to do it. Just under 200 total yards, but had he played the whole game we all know it would be quite a bit more. He’s so dynamic, has such good vision, and is such a joy to watch that I’m going to miss him when he graduates.

Jace Stuckey Jace Stuckey 6'3" | 175 lbs | QB Triton Central | 2024 State IN – Triton Central – QB – 6’2″ 190lbs – 2024
Stuckey’s performance should have been on the QBs Who Lit Up Week 1 post, but I made a blunder. Not to take away from anyone on that piece, because they deserve that spotlight, but so does Stuckey, which is why he’s being added here. It’s hard to not talk about a guy who only had 5 incompletions and threw for over 400 yards. He not only threw for 400+ yards but had 5 TDs. He made up for each one of his incompletions by tossing for 6, so I think they’ll take it. He was throwing guys open all night, has a ton of confidence, and just lets it rip. A summer well spent with Coach Morelli and crew down in Indy, because somehow Stuckey is even better this year than last. He’s one of the best recruits in Indiana and for good reason.

Brayden Shrake Brayden Shrake 5'10" | 210 lbs | RB Martinsville | 2024 State IN – Martinsville – RB – 5’10” 210lbs – 2024
Shrake is a fairly impressive back who had a big week. He’s a bigger back who certainly can do some damage in between the tackles. He’s strong enough to absorb hits and return the favor to DBs and LBs. He’s got the speed to hit the corner and get upfield. He’s also got good vision and found a few cutback lanes that allowed him to be off to the races in the second and third levels of the defense. On the night, Shrake put up 216 rushing yards and 2 TDs on the ground. He wore down the defense as the game went on and got better with more touches. I can see him being a good back at the next level simply with his size and ease of moving. Either way, I think he’s someone who could quietly be a 1500+ yard rusher if he continues to perform like that.

Gabe Drew Gabe Drew 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Edgewood | 2025 State IN – Edgewood – RB – 5’11” 190lbs – 2025
Drew is a perfect example of what I love about football season. Coming into the season, I truthfully never heard of Drew, but now that I’ve seen him play, I’m baffled I didn’t know who he was until Friday’s performance. He’s a fairly impressive back who does a lot of good things. He’s quick with his decisions, strong with his cuts, and has the speed to outrun pretty much everyone on the field. They fed him all night long and he never buckled or began to wear down. 27 carries on the night, 250 rushing yards, and 3 TDs put Drew on my map. Whether it was a 4-yard run getting every inch he could or a big play where he gashed the defense, the same intensity shows up on tape when he’s out there. Drew is fun, had a big night, but could be in store for an even bigger year if he stays hot.

Brody Isza Brody Isza 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Washington Community Schools | 2026 State IN – Washington – WR – 6’1″ 180lbs – 2026
Isza comes out right away swinging in his sophomore year. Young guys are asked every year to step up, and it appears Isza is more than ready. He’s a lengthy receiver who can create separation at the top of his route. He’s got a vertical and the natural height that allows him to be competitive in jump ball situations. All things considered, he checks quite a few boxes naturally of someone you’re looking for. You see him and would think he’s an upperclassman by the way he’s built, but he’s still only a sophomore. His biggest play of the night was when he got behind the entire defense and was hit in stride for 6. His first TD, and more importantly, the trust was there. After that, he was looked to in crunch time and came through. On the night he had 7 catches, 186 yards, and that 1 TD. Isza appears more than ready for his breakout campaign and should be a reliable target for years to come.
