After releasing our initial 2024 and 2025 rankings updates for this season, we have now turned our attention to a class debut in our rankings. The 2026 class is loaded with several talented players but some stood out above the rest to make our initial Top 100. With those rankings being officially posted, I will now be breaking them down by position. After covering the skill positions, I will now wrap up the offensive side of the ball with our top offensive linemen in the class of 2026 in the state of Kentucky.
David Pellman David Pellman 6’3″ | 285 lbs | OL DuPont Manual | 2026 State KY is not only our top offensive lineman but also debuts at the top overall spot in the class of 2026. Pellman is a physical offensive lineman that has the versatility to play at multiple positions across the line. He is very impressive as a run blocker, exploding out of his stance and driving his man down the field. Pellman finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in several pancake blocks. David currently holds offers from Florida, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Louisville, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Power 5 caliber offensive line prospect with three years to continue to develop.
Bo Wolford Bo Wolford 6’3″ | 280 lbs | OL Belfry | 2026 State KY is an offensive lineman that caught my attention quickly as a freshman. Wolford starts at right tackle for the Pirates where he is one of the driving forces in their high-powered rushing attack. He is a true mauler as a run blocker, exploding out of his stance and driving his man off the line of scrimmage to open a running lane. Wolford also does a great job of getting to the second level to pick up blocks in open space. He also makes sure to finish his blocks through the whistle with many of them resulting in pancakes. While Bo doesn’t currently hold any offers, I expect come to come his way as he has the potential to become a true Division I caliber offensive line prospect.
Highlights
Colt Kelly Colt Kelly 6’1″ | 255 lbs | OL Boyle County | 2026 State KY is a player that recently jumped onto my radar. Kelly started games at both guard and center for the Rebels as a freshman. He is a very impressive run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man off the line of scrimmage. Kelly also does a great job of quickly finishing his blocks to take his man out of the picture and create a running lane for the ball carrier. Colt doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player for college coaches to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.
Highlights
Another offensive lineman that recently jumped onto my radar is Max Merz Max Merz 6’4″ | 305 lbs | OL Highlands | 2026 State KY from Highlands. Merz lines up at guard where he is an impressive run blocker. Max does a great job of creating movement off the line of scrimmage in the run game. He also has shown the ability to pull and pick up blocks in open space. Merz has also proven to be a reliable pass blocker, showing the ability to keep a strong base and not allow penetration into the pocket. While Max doesn’t currently hold any offers, he is definitely a player for college coaches to pay close attention to over the next few seasons.

To wrap up our top five offensive linemen in the class of 2026 in the state of Kentucky, I have Ben Myers Ben Myers 6’5″ | 285 lbs | OL Paducah Tilghman | 2026 State KY from Paducah Tilghman. Myers lines up at right tackle where he is a dominant run blocker. He does a great job of creating movement off the line of scrimmage and driving his man out of the picture. Myers also does a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in open space. Ben has also proven to be a solid pass blocker, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge and keep a strong base to not allow penetration into the pocket. Myers doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.
