They would lose the following week to eventual State Champion Bishop McDevitt, but all in all a very successful season for Twin Valley. Coach Myers came over from Middleton where he was a successful Head Coach who took his team to 3 straight PIAA Finals. Myers went 73-22 during his 8 years at Middleton. Twin Valley had a successful 1st year as well considering it was the 1st season they were playing in the new Berks/Lancaster-Lebanon League.

Highlights
Aris Drake Aris Drake 6'6" | 285 lbs | OL Twin Valley | 2025 State PA . Drake is one of the best lineman prospects in the 2025 class. He has great size and is a strong player, especially at the point of attack. This is what my colleague Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA said about Drake earlier this year:
I’m on a constant hunt for 6’6, 280-pound linemen, especially underclassmen. My hunt led me back to Twin Valley where Aris Drake Aris Drake 6'6" | 285 lbs | OL Twin Valley | 2025 State PA caught my attention. I immediately sent his name to FBS programs I’m plugged in with, making sure to spread his name around. His tape isn’t elite yet, the left tackle has a ways to go before I’d officially stamp him as an FBS-quality lineman. Yet he is well on his way to that grade, both from a tape and measurables perspective. Drake is already putting kids in the dirt, his ability to punish kids won’t have to be taught. Shoots his hands well, his strength is going to be felt on each rep. Drake is teetering the line between good and great. I imagine programs will begin reaching out to the young man for junior day/gameday visits as we get closer to next Fall.

. McClune is another talented offensive lineman for Twin Valley. Similar to Drake, McClune has great size and showed in his film how strong he is as a player. Below is what I wrote about McClune earlier this year:
McClune has good size standing 6’4″. He is also strong and he is able to hold his own against a defensive lineman. He is good at controlling defensive linemen by using his strength to attack them and move them. In Twin Valley’s pull-heavy offense, McClune showed good athleticism by pulling and blocking downfield. McClune also displayed a nasty streak by finishing his blocks. McClune has the athleticism and the size to play at the next level.

Noah Roehm Noah Roehm 6'1" | 250 lbs | OL Twin Valley | 2024 State PA . Roehm is another talented offensive lineman from Twin Valley. Good luck on defense trying to penetrate this talented group of offensive linemen. Below is what I wrote about Roehm earlier this year:
Roehm was the starting center for Twin Valley last year. Roehm showed the ability to use his hands very well and then attack a defensive lineman. He does a nice job of engaging defenders and then driving them off the ball. Especially if a defender is shaded towards the center position he will block the defender and cut off their position towards the backfield. Roehm also showed good snaps from the center position. Roehm with a strong Senior year should have a chance to get play College Football.
Evan Johnson Evan Johnson 6'1" | 185 lbs | LB Pine-Richland | 2024 State PA . Johnson is a talented running back that shows good speed and athleticism for the position. Running behind this offensive line should allow him to have a big year for Twin Valley. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this year:
Johnson played running back for Twin Valley last year. Johnson has good lateral quickness and uses it well when he hits the hole. If you give him a seem he is good at hitting the hole for a big play. He is especially good in the open field. When he gets into the open field he has elite speed to run by defenders. He was good on sweeps outside when he can use his speed to hit the outside and just run by defenders. He also showed an ability to catch the ball out of the backfield on screens and other pass plays. The other big thing about Johnson is he is a tough runner to bring down. It usually takes one or more tacklers to bring him down. Johnson definitely should have a good shot at playing College Football in the future.

Evan Myers Evan Myers 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB Twin Valley | 2025 State PA . Myers is a talented quarterback who is going to start his 2nd season this year. I expect he will make a jump this year going into his 2nd season. Below is what I wrote about Myers earlier this year:
Myers played quarterback for Twin Valley last year. Myers is a dual-threat quarterback that is very good at running with the football. He is a good athlete so when the play breaks down he can run for big plays. He is equally as good when it comes to the QB run game. Myers sets his feet well and throws a good football. He is also good at sprinting out and throwing on the run. Myers also does a nice job of anticipating the opening to the receiver and throwing the ball to the open receiver. Myers also throws with good touch on the ball when it is needed. He should only get better going forward.
Ean Winchester Ean Winchester 6'2" | 220 lbs | DL Twin Valley | 2024 State PA . Winchester played defensive tackle and tight end last year. At defensive tackle, he played at a very high level. The Offensive’s had a difficult time blocking him one on one. He has such good strength and quickness that he explodes off the ball and pushes offensive linemen into the backfield. He is quick off the ball that it looks like he knows the snap count. Winchester also uses his athleticism to create chaos in the backfield. At tight end, he played as an off-the-ball linebacker who can be used to block and catch the ball well. He does a nice job of running routes well and turning upfield to get as many yards as possible. He is a nice player to move around on the offense. Winchester is an impressive player that should have a good chance at playing College Football in the future.
Drew Engle Drew Engle 5'9" | 185 lbs | RB Twin Valley | 2026 State PA . Engle played safety, and running back and was used as a kickoff returner last year. As a Freshman I don’t know if you can find a player who made a bigger impact than Engle. As a returner, he had several long returns. At safety he was a difference maker in the defensive secondary. Engle did a nice job in coverage and specifically did a nice job breaking on balls in the air. Engle also provides good run support from his safety position by coming upfield to make tackles. Engle also ran the ball at running back and caught some passes out of the backfield. In both of these areas he showed good burst and that he caught the ball well. Engle is an impressive athlete that I cannot wait to see how he does going forward.
Highlights
Greyson Miller Greyson Miller 6'0" | 235 lbs | OL Twin Valley | 2026 State PA . Miller is another talented offensive lineman for Twin Valley. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this year:
Miller played right guard for Twin Valley last year. He is a good athlete that also showed good strength. He does a nice job pulling and kicking out defenders. He uses good leverage and does a nice job engaging and blocking defenders by using that leverage. Miller does a nice job double-teaming defensive linemen and then peeling off the double team to block linebackers on the next level. For a Freshman offensive linemen, Miller showed a ton of skills.
Final Thoughts:
Coach Myers record as a Head Coach speaks for how successful he has been and I expect the success to continue for Twin Valley going forward. Twin Valley brings a ton of players back from last year’s team, so I expect to play at an even higher level this year. Competing for a Section 3 Title in the Lancaster-Lebanon League would go a successful year 2 for Coach Myers club. It would not surprise me at all if Twin Valley competes and maybe wins the Section.
