Eddrick Houston Eddrick Houston 6'3" | 255 lbs | DL Buford | 2024 State GA – Buford
An elite defensive lineman who can line up on the EDGE or on the inside, Houston is ranked in the Prep Redzone rankings as the No. 5 overall prospect in the state. At 6-foot-3 255-pounds, Houston is an excellent pass-rusher and one of the best run defenders not only in 7A, but across the state of Georgia. He holds offers from just about every major program in the country, and there’s a reason for that. An easy consensus 5-star prospect, Houston has elite quickness off the ball and can disrupt a play in the backfield at any point. He’s long, athletic, and shows plenty of explosiveness for his size. He has a great motor, sheds blocks consistently, and beat some quality offensive linemen throughout his junior season in 2024. Look for him to lead Buford’s defense in hopes of getting them back to the state championship as a senior.
Justin Greene Justin Greene 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Mountain View | 2024 State GA – Mountain View
A disruptive defender who can explode of the snap and blow up any particular play, Greene is one of the very best defensive line prospects in Georgia and set to play for the in-state Georgia Bulldogs at the next level. Greene has a great frame at 6-foot-5 260-pounds who does a great job of using his length to easily get off blocks from most opposing offensive tackles. Greene has plenty of time to add more weight and muscle, giving him a chance to overpower defenders while keeping his athleticism. He can swallow the running back with ease and knows how to deliver a big hit on the quarterback. He flashes consistently, and is currently ranked as the No. 24 overall prospect in the state for the 2024 class. As a junior last fall, Greene made 63 tackles, 9.5 TFLs, and four sacks. Look for those numbers to increase even more as a senior this fall, even though he’ll be lining up against some of the best competition in Georgia.
Deuce Geralds – Collins Hill
He may be young, but make no mistake, Geralds is already one of the top pass-rushers not only in 7A, but across the state of Georgia. A disruptive defender with plenty of size and strength at 6-foot-3 240-pounds, Geralds has big, strong hands and is already a physically imposing defender for the Eagles. Just a freshman last year, Geralds proved to be a real game-changing defender against both the pass and the run. He was tough to block all year long, and he was going up against talented offensive linemen on a weekly basis last year. He made an impressive 66 tackles with an impressive 17.5 TFLs and 10.5 sacks. He has easy 5-star potential and was one of the top overall defenders in the area last season, and will be one of the best again in the region this fall. He holds plenty of top D1 offers and has a chance to bee a 5-star prospect nationally sooner than later. Right now, Prep Redzone ranks him as the No. 3 prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class.
