I am continuing my coverage of 2025 prospects in Southern Indiana and these five young prospects fit the mold. These young men had promising sophomore seasons and had great offseasons. Give these guys a watch and keep them on your list of prospects to keep an eye out for over the next two years.
Brayden Jones Brayden Jones 6’1″ | 225 lbs | RB Eastern | 2025 State IN is a 6’1″ 225 pound RB from Eastern (Pekin) High School. The powerful back had 225 carries, 1,372 yards, and 19 TDs last season. Brayden looks like a man among boys on film. His big frame makes him a tough back to bring down. Brayden’s best feature of his game is his powerful stiff arm. The downhill runner is seen running through his opponents while shedding off blocks on his way to the endzone. Brayden Jones Brayden Jones 6’1″ | 225 lbs | RB Eastern | 2025 State IN is a freight train and is going to be a problem for defenses for the next two years.
Cody Banet
Cody Banet
Cody Banet is a 6’2″ 170 pound QB from Eastern (Pekin) High School. In his sophomore season, the QB from Eastern had a 55% pass completion percentage, 1,344 yards, 12 TDs, and 7 INTs. Cody showed last season to be a reliable QB in the pocket. The pocket QB can absolutely sling it down the field and hit his WRs in stride. Cody showed to handle stress and pressure in the pocket very well last season. The QB was able to escape sacks last season and make accurate throws on the run. He also made it known that he can get the job done on the ground while running into the endzone 4 times last season. Keep an eye out for Cody Banet this season!
Aidan Miller Aidan Miller 6’8″ | 300 lbs | OL Eastern | 2025 State IN is a 6’8″ 306 pound OT from Eastern (Pekin) High School. That is not a typo, and no you did not read that wrong. The 6’8″ OT from Eastern is getting some attention due to his size alone. On film, Aidan showed to hold his own and that he is not just a big guy taking up space. He has the strength and mobility to mold himself into a legitimate D1 offensive tackle prospect. He is reliable when pass-blocking and does a great job taking care of the guy across from him. A year of varsity and a great offseason has put him on the right track to become something special. Aidan Miller Aidan Miller 6’8″ | 300 lbs | OL Eastern | 2025 State IN is on his way to becoming one of the best tackles in the state by his senior season.

Darius Gray is a 6’0″ 160 pound WR from Silver Creek High School. The WR had 35 receptions, 560 yards, and 4 TDs last season. His stats and efforts last season earned him All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. Speed and athleticism are two attributes that set Darius apart from his opponents. The shifty, quick WR had numerous appearances catching passes behind the defense. Darius showed to make contested catches look easy. He takes a 5-yard hitch route and makes it a 20-yard reception because of his moves and determination to get every yard he can. Darius Gray is a young 2025 prospect to keep an eye on over the next two years.

Gregory Hutcheson Gregory Hutcheson 6’0″ | 190 lbs | RB Brownstown Central | 2025 IN is a 6’1″ 190 pound RB/LB from Brownstown Central High School. The two-way player had himself a productive year on both sides of the ball. Defensively, he made plays in coverage while snagging a couple of picks of his own. On defense, Gregory flies to the football and makes physical and technique-sound tackles. On the flip side, the RB is seen making explosive plays for the Brownstown Central offense. Give him the edge and he will make you pay for it. Every stretch play seem to go 10+ yards when he got around the defense.
