After evaluating some intriguing quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs and tight ends, it’s time to conclude our breakdown of the offensive side of the ball as we review some impressive offensive linemen. Here’s my list of some talented class of 2024 offensive lineman from Tennessee to watch for next season.

At the top of my list of standouts is Ronan O’Connell Ronan O’Connell 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Page | 2024 State TN , a 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive lineman at Page High School. O’Connell was a physical and focused addition to the Patriots’ offensive line during his junior stint of high school football last year. In addition to outstanding size, speed and physicality, what stands out about O’Connell is his overwhelming strength and ability to blast defenders with his toughness. The rising senior out of Franklin, TN. showcased his ability to quickly find his man off the snap and consistently overpower and push his man out of position. With a highly physical playstyle and a commanding presence on the field last year, O’Connell is without question one of the more intriguing offensive lineman prospects in the state to watch for next season.

Claiming the second place spot on my list is John Wayne Oliver John Wayne Oliver 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL CPA | 2024 State TN , a 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive lineman at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Oliver was a gamechanger on the Lions’ offensive line during his junior season of high school football last year. With excellent size, speed and toughness on the field, Oliver consistently protected his quarterback and helped to reduce pressure. Another aspect of Oliver’s game that caught my eye was his ability to overpower the defense, using his physical edge and calculated speed off the snap to stun defenders and buy the offense more time to make plays. After an oustanding year, the rising senior out of Nashville, TN. is definitely one of the more explosive offensive lineman prospects in the Volunteer State to watch for this upcoming season. Oliver is committed to the University of Mississippi.

Masterson was one of the more impactful additions to the Panthers’ offensive line during his junior stint of high school football last year. Masterson impresses me with his overall durability and explosive toughness, utilizing his size and speed to both absorb and contain defensive pressure. What makes Masterson so efficient is his ability to overpower and knock defenders to the ground, creating opportunities for the offense to advance their field position. After a solid year, the rising senior out of Nashville, TN. is definitely an intriguing offensive lineman in Tennessee to watch out for next season. Masterson is committed to the University of North Carolina.

Coming in at number five on my list of standouts is Luke Work Luke Work 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Lausanne | 2024 State TN , a 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive lineman at Lausanne Collegiate High School. Work was one of the more significant pieces of the Lynx’ offensive line during his junior stint of high school football last year. The rising senior out of Memphis, TN. had unmatched arm strength, stunning defenders with his ability to shove them back several feet and wrestle them to the ground.
