75. Makyi Reed-Jones Makyi Reed-Jones 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Lafayette | 2024 State MS – Lafayette County
What does the tape say?
Dynamic frame that screams boundary receiver. Physical makeup with build to win in one on ones and jump ball situations. Average burst and overall acceleration with straight line speed that builds from point A to B. Shifty with his feet and handsy at the line of scrimmage with some technical skills. More than a pure over the top threat. Good hands with good catch radius. Sees field well with ball in his hands. Expect to see this recruitment heat up going into his senior season.
Position projection: Wide Receiver
74. Dequadrion Welch Dequadrion Welch 5'10" | 160 lbs | WR Noxubee County | 2024 State MS – Noxubee County
What does the tape say?
Smaller, slot receiver type build that oozes athleticism. Needs ball in his hands however you can get it there. Potential as a pass catcher, runner and on special teams. Well above average speed and burst that sustains. Cuts well without sacrificing speed. Runs routes with poise and potential to get even better in that area. Hands are a plus. Welch has extreme value as an offensive playmaker and is under-valued currently.
Position projection: Wide Receiver
73. Brady Parkerson Brady Parkerson 6'3" | 260 lbs | OL St Joseph | 2024 State MS – St. Joseph
What does the tape say?
Currently best framed to play interior line, namely at center. Frames shows potential to continue to grow. Film shows production across the line from one end to the other. Technical strength with good initial point of attack from a strong base. Gets to second level when asked to. Moves freely with some ease. Hand usage is prevalent. Appears to play with motor needed up front. Question is how he will continue to grow and where that best positions him.
Position projection: Center
72. Ziron Brown Ziron Brown 6'4" | 255 lbs | OL Bay | 2024 State MS – Bay
What does the tape say?
Brown has height and length that is prototypical for a tackle prospect at this point with a frame that can be bulked up. Way above average strength is obvious. Brown fires off the ball and plays at good pad level. Wide stance. Appears to be better in run scheme at this point but has tools to succeed at the next level in pass sets just fine. Has plenty of Power 5 attention and it is warranted.
Position projection: Offensive Tackle
71. Omar Scott Omar Scott 6'2" | 200 lbs | RB Winston Academy | 2024 State MS – Winston Academy
What does the tape say?
Altogether athletic makeup. Smooth and agile. Makes athletic ability look easy. Good runner that shows shiftiness and twitch. Fluid in the hips with a lack of anything that looks tight. Not afraid of contact. Seems to see field well. Best athlete on the field. Has some “looks” of a defensive back with his length.
Position projection: Defensive Back
