Continue ReadingI dug into the film vault and looked at a strong group of guys ready to breakout this season. Each prospect’s 2022 highlights showed plenty of promise and I believe they’re ready to take the next step in their game. These guys have the size and God-given athleticism to develop into really good ball players at the next level. The next year will be crucial not only for their development but also for their respective recruitments.

DE: Thierry Moro, 6’5″ 230, 2026
One of the freakiest things about Moro is his wing span. This young man legitimately has a 7’3″ wing span. Yes, you read that right! He’s got refined hands at the point of attack, he can push-pull linemen when their weight is over their base, and has a spin move that’s quite explosive. Moro’s got a ton of raw power that can be tapped into and he’s a natural at putting speed to power.
OL: Gabe Osenda, 6’7″ 295, 2026
Clearwater Academy down in Florida got a good one in Mr. Osenda. Gabe has elite size for the position, is a natural mover, he’s got a powerful upper half that can overwhelm defenders and will play through the whistle. He’s gotta work on his first step, hand placement at the point of attack, & his initial punch, but there’s so much upside here.
QB: Marek Filipek, 6’2″ 170, 2024
Marek was one of my favorite Canadian quarterbacks I watched on film. This kid has rhythmic footwork, excellent timing, and can easily throw on the run. On tape, he’s got a quick setup, he can stretch the field vertically, and is fearless in the pocket with a free rusher bearing down. He consistently works to his third & fourth read in the progression and can place the football in-stride to his target.
OL: Liam Kelly Liam Kelly 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL Bishop Reding | 2025 State CAD , 6’3″ 255, 2026
A mauler who can displace down linemen on double teams and finish off blocks with a pancake. Liam has the toughness, aggression, and feet you want in an interior offensive lineman. He’s got strong hands once engaged, he’s under control blocking at the second level and takes quality angles to the block. He’s another guy that’s still refining his technique, but with so much ball left at the high school level, I have no question the best is yet to come.
