Preview:
Minico is one of the premier programs in the 4A ranks the last two seasons especially and with a new head coach at the helm. Coach Blaser and the Spartans are going to still be one of the toughest teams to beat in the state. Coach Blaser is familiar with the 4A ranks having brought a state title to Kuna before his last stop at Owyhee. The Spartans will look a little bit different this upcoming season as Coach Blaser has made his spread offense his calling card. With a returner at quarterback in Carson Wayment Carson Wayment 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Minico | 2024 State ID and a tight end that maybe be one of the top players in his class in Dominik Soto Dominik Soto 6'6" | 250 lbs | TE Minico | 2024 State ID the offense will feature more throwing of the football than in years past. On defense it should be much of the same for the Spartans where they are consistently one of the best units in the state of Idaho. With their ability to pressure the quarterback and create turnovers the Spartan defense is always a force to be reckoned with. This is going to be another really good Minico football team and they should be right near the top when everything is said and done.
