Matthew is a linebacker that although might be under the measurables scale for the position, sure as heck makes up for it with his instinctive vision to consistently find the ball carrier thru some tight windows. His first step brings a plethora of electricity and long strides for his 6’0 190 pound frame. He also passes my eye test with his pass coverage over the middle, as a LB prospect that shows off some versatile skillsets no matter where he lines up. Even though all our prospects are new additions with the new PRZ Canada site, Matthew already points in the direction as a stockriser in the next 2024 rankings update. Twitter
No matter which side of the field Morgan lines up on the one fact that stands out is that this kid is a certified ball-hawk with his hands. He shows off an excellent catch radius that can make the difficult catches look easy and is another prospect on this list that plays with plenty of pure instinct all over the field. Morgan also shows off a significant trigger defensively with his change of direction and can fly into the backfield from beyond the second level to go make a play. This young man has quite the range of motion in his footwork at 6’2 185 pounds as his best next-level points to me as a free safety. Morgan is our #2 athlete in all of Canada that should certainly be a stockriser next time we do our 2024 update. Twitter
Adrian is another new addition to our 2024 rankings as one that is very smooth with his progressions especially inside the pocket. He also has substantial precision on all three-levels of the football field, as he uses the proper arm strength and touch to give his wide receiver the best chance at the ball with their route running. This kid’s arm is wired like a slingshot, especially on intermediate and deep routes, as Adrian certainly looks like a next-level QB prospect in my eyes that is certainly one you go outside the measurables threeshold for at the QB position.
Ben is an offensive line prospect ranked inside our top 50 that shows off some significant skillsets with his base at the point of attack. He has agile speed in his hands and can work quickly with a quick punch with excellent pad level. Some of his best skillsets show off attacking the hip of the defender as he wins this battle on a consistent basis and drives his defender into the next area code with his pass protection. Currently OL5 in Canada at 6’3 295 pounds and is one I expect to rise up several spots by next 2024 update. Twitter
Highlights
Our top defensive back in amongst Canada prospects is Clarkson Football North’s Benjamin Wilson. This young man is smoothly crafty with his change of direction and the range he can cover certainly shows off a corner that can cover sideline to sideline. I also love watching Benjamin’s football IQ, as he shows off a DB that is a coach on the field and one that can easily line up in press man with his 6’0 180 pound frame and cause all sorts of trouble for the pass-catcher with his elite ball tracking ability. I also love his versatility he plays with mid-route as defensive back that tread just about anywhere on the field quickly to help out his secondary. This young man will certainly be a prospect on Saturdays no doubt about it.
Not once in my career of football scouting have I ever seen a botched snap get flipped for a touchdown, but that changed when I watched Augustine Nkundimana Augustine Nkundimana 5’8″ | 160 lbs | ATH Dakota Collegiate | 2024 State CAD ‘s first clip on tape. This young man is so efficent when he gets downhill on any side of the football field, as he has incredible speed from start to finish. Augustine is a running back prospect that if you ever blink mid-tape, he already will be 15-20 yards up field as he showed off that he can get out of high traffic areas swiftly with his super agile change of direction. He is also dynamic return man, that only needs a small window of operation to take the ball down field for six. This kid gives me Maurice Jones-Drew vibes when I watch him on tape, and I am not ever usually one that compares HS prospects to former pros however the electricity Augustine plays with is fun as heck to watch from a tape lenses. He has to be the fastest player in Manitoba and probably in the country as he also has an impressive 100-meter dash time too. Twitter
