Continue ReadingI really think Steele is an underrated prospect, and I think he’ll start to get some notice this year. I love the way he moves in the run game, in the pocket and the fact that he is able to deliver good strikes under pressure. I think he’s got really high upside as he continues to hone in the accuracy and continues to work on his footwork and passing from the pocket. Monroe will go as he goes, and I think he will show no signs of slowing down and will keep improving. I could see some D3 offers rolling in soon, but I think that’s the floor for this sleeper QB.
While he did get some snaps his Sophomore season, it’s looking like Ty should be the guy going into the fall this year. I’m pretty high on Fletcher, as I love what he brings to the table physically, He can stand in the pocket and deliver consistent throws, and as he feels pressure he is plenty mobile enough to manipulate the pocket to be able to get the pass off. I noticed he is very patient, and makes good decisions more often than not when finding his target. There are times he may hold onto it a touch long, but I think as he gains confidence and comfort, that will go away. Overall I think he will continue to develop into a very good gunslinger in due time.
Junge really strikes me as another guy that may be a bit under the radar. Coming off a Sophomore campaign that saw him throw for 28 TDs and over 2,600 yards, I expect nothing less from Graham going forward. I love his release, as he just looks natural throwing the ball. When the pocket breaks down, he’s really good at keeping his feet moving and keeping his eyes downfield and making the right decision. It seems one of his strongest passes is the back shoulder, which is really impressive. Keep this guy on your radar as he could end up really putting up some crazy numbers this year.
This guy has the pocket awareness, size and a good base of skills to be elite soon. The lefty has a strong arm, and his film displays a great deep ball. As long as he keeps working on the short and intermediate touch passes, I think he is going to be a really sought after prospect. I’m anticipating another step up, as he has been working on his craft all offseason long. Giovannini will have a very testing schedule that should really display his development well.
