A tall, well built QB, Shawn Bellenger Shawn Bellenger 6’1″ | 195 lbs | QB Lyndhurst | 2025 NJ is out to do big things for Lyndhurst. As a sophomore, Shawn was able to rack up 1011 passing yards and total 9 touchdowns. This player is a very reliable pocket passer and has a rocket for an arm. He presses hard and quickly off of his back foot and delivers a fast ball downfield. Shawn is also able to put touch on the ball that gets the ball overtop of the defenders. He throws streaks and deep corner route very well. The added bonus for Shawn is he is nimble in the pocket. He is athletic enough to move around in the backfield to evade tacklers and continue on to make the play. Shawn had an impressive sophomore year and is sure to have an even more successful junior season.
Jerzey Ryan
Jerzey Ryan
Jerzey Ryan is one of the returning leaders for New Milford. He is a true playmaker from the quarterback position. Jerzey can make some amazing plays happen when they look like they were destined to fail. Very confident throwing from an off balance position, Jerzey is also one of the cleaner passers on the run in the division. While New Milford didn’t have the most successful 2022 season, Jerzey gives this team hope for a brighter future. There are a lot of exciting plays heading this team’s way with Jerzey leading the charge.

Roddy Morinho Roddy Morinho 6’0″ | 185 lbs | LB Lyndhurst | 2025 NJ is Lyndhurst’s second 2025 player to make this list. With their QB coming back for two more season, Roddy is right there next to him in the backfield as the lead runner. Tallying up 724 yards and 12 offensive touchdowns, Roddy is a tall, strong running back that uses his size to overpower defenders. Roddy can deliver a powerful stiff arm to defenders and is consistently shaking off arm tackles. While Roddy is most impactful as a bulldozing runner, he also uses his longer legs to accelerate into open field and create distance between himself and the defenders pursuing him. With his trajectory, he is going to be an extremely hard back to stop these next two seasons. I see him playing a big role as a pass catcher out of the backfield in the future. Roddy has a size advantage that will be utilized to the fullest.
Brandon Vega
Brandon Vega
Brandon Vega was a stud freshman in 2022. As a edge rusher for Secaucus, Brandon was able to bring the QB down 4 times, and accumulate 61 total tackles and 10 of those for a loss. It is always impressive when a freshman makes an all division team. However, Brandon is really right up there with the best upper classmen in the division. He is quick off of the line and collapses the pocket from the edge position. Brandon fights to get to the quarterback as he drives his hands aggressively into the blocker. He is a future double digit sack player that we may even see accomplished this fall. Depending on his size these next few seasons Brandon could continue to thrive at the edge position, but is also fast enough to step back and play as a linebacker.
