Watching film you would think this guy is 6’3 225 the way he delivers tackles. The rising Junior from Collins Hill is ranked by PrepRedzone as the #23 overall linebacker in the 2025 class. Averaged close to 8 TT a game last season while starting as a Sophomore in the largest classification in the State. Great vision and instincts at the MLB spot. Good in coverage and has an explosive first step toward the line of scrimmage when he sniffs out the run. Multisport athlete that was selected to the teams Leadership Council for the 2023. Would not be at all surprised to see Hatch garner his 1st offers during the 2023 season.
Luke Mobbs
Luke Mobbs
At 5’8 185 Hobbs may not be the most physically intimidating linebacker in 6A but he uses instinct and toughness to be one of the top total tacklers in the class. Great vision at the OLB spot and is able to anticipate plays. Reacts well and is quick and strong enough to shed blocks from much bigger offensive linemen. He had multiple games last season where he topped double digits in total tackles. Intriguing prospect that is a throw back to the “old school” football player. Was a 2nd Team All Region selection in ’22 in a Region that included your State Runner-up in 6A.

At 6’2 215 this is one rising Junior that I think has the potential to have a lot of D1 interest by the end of the ’23 season. Fluid athleticism with above average speed. Played multiple positions last season with the Hornets including ILB, OLB, and DE. Has the hands and the skill set to play DB at the next level. Athletic frame that has the ability to put on good weight. Gets it done in the classroom with a 3.8 GPA. Picked up offers from Austin Peay and Florida Atlantic back in May. A stock riser in ’23 with a high ceiling.
Evan Bartek

The 6’0 210 Bartek is a workout Warrior. The 2nd Team All Region and 2nd Team All County MLB maxes 365 on BP and 470 on Squats during his Sophomore year. Good vision at the MLB spot in recognizing the run. Uses his strength to fight through blocks and once he makes contact he stops the ball carrier in their tracks. Good technique in coverage, moves his feet well, and has the speed to tackle sideline to sideline. High academic schools to keep a watch on this guy. Carries a 4.16 GPA and made the IVY League camp circuit this Summer.
Jaden Miles
Jaden Miles
Speed is a killer. The 5’10 185 Miles has it. He ran a 10.9 this year in the 100m and that speed translates over to the field. Good 1st step and blows by offensive lineman before they have time to get out and get hands on him. A sure tackler that stop ball carriers in their tracks. Recorded over 100 TT last season as a sophomore with 4 sacks. Projects as an athlete at the next level. Interested to watch his physical growth over the next 2 years and if he can maintain that speed while adding muscle he could be a high level D1 prospect.
Jermaine Sims
Jermaine Sims
Once again a guy at 5’9 175 that might not be the most physically imposing LB but knows how to play the position and get it done. The best in this group at watching the QB and knowing how the play is developing. Reacts well and has the toughness and strength to play between the tackles at the line of scrimmage. Good instincts in coverage, understands his assignments and has good hands. A LB to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.
