Our objective is to make sure that every prospect is covered and promoted. If we should miss some, we always welcome the fans, coaches and players to send us video and information so we can get those young men out there.
While the season is a little over a month away, the Class of 2024 is certainly on the clock, and there are many gifted seniors who have not had the college attention they deserve.
With the in mind, we are bringing those under-the-radar prospects into the spotlight and giving them a chance for the many college coaches who follow us to see exactly what they have been missing.
Today, we bring you five more players from that talented class:
Kael Alexander Kael Alexander 6'4" | 195 lbs | QB Miramar | 2024 FL , QB, 6-4, 185. Miramar. After coming over from Weston Cypress Bay after his sophomore season, this is a student/athlete that thrusted himself into the spotlight. Size, arm strength, decision making and one of the best students (4.57 GPA, 1160 SAT) in the school. What he did in his first season with the Patriots was showcase his leadership and will to learn the game and position. Leading his offense three rounds deep in the state playoffs was certainly something that started to open college coaches’ eyes. They need to watch him this coming season. His potential is through the roof.
Markell Davis, LB, Ocala Vanguard. There is no getting around that this is a program that puts its prospects in the spotlight with a competitive schedule and solid teaching and coaching. Here is a talented young man who plays this game with passion and has turned into a quality run stopper. He gets to plays to either make the tackle or slow down the flow of the play so his teammates can jump in to finish off the play. Whether it’s outside, in the middle or coming off the edge, Markell is at the center of the action. His work in the classroom is also something that will attract college attention – boasting a 4.1 GPA.
Russell Fickett, LB, 6-0, 220, Mount Dora. On a team loaded with prospects and potential, here is a playmaker that the Hurricanes are glad comes back for his final season. What he has turned into is a playmaker that has a high football IQ, knows how to read offenses and is one of those whistle-to-whistle players who gives everything he has. Another football player that must be watched live to be appreciated for several reasons. Speaking of a high IQ, his 4.8 GPA in the classroom is also something that will carry a lot of weight with colleges and universities.
Hampton, OLB/Nickel, 5-11, 160, Sanford Seminole. One of the more versatile football players in this class. One who has been a part of a championship and state playoffs. A converted quarterback after his sophomore year, he had an unbelievable first year on the defensive side of the ball – arguably one of the Seminoles’ most productive players on that side of the ball. You watch him perform and you can see how important he is to the team with his playmaking abilities and leadership. Another standout player who is being overlooked.
2024 – Dylan Mayers Dylan Mayers 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Boca Raton St. Andrew's | 2024 FL , QB, 6-0, 195, Boca Raton St. Andrew’s. Comes south for his final year from Lovett, Georgia, and this team will welcome him with open arms as they are always searching for playmakers as frontline starters and valuable depth. With two preferred walk on offers in hand from Power 5 schools Texas A&M and UCF, he is still searching for more exposure with the Scots. but looking to get more exposure. This versatile talent has played at the varsity level, playing received a year ago. As a quarterback he throws a good ball – with accuracy and velocity. He does a solid job of getting the ball out quickly and has some speed to run from either quarterback or a receiver position.
