Today though, I wanted to look at some recruits that are flying under the radar and would be deemed “sleepers” by most recruiting outlets. They were terrific on film and each has a ton of promise. Just because their offer list isn’t expansive right now, doesn’t mean it will stay that way…

LB: Cyril Shneider, 6’2″ 225, Ottawa
A quicker than fast linebacker prospect with natural instincts and the ability to sort through blocks at the second level. Cyril has the body control to tackle in space, he times up blitzes beautifully, and can put speed to power as a rusher when the time calls for it. He’s fluid in zone coverage and does a good job reading the quarterback’s intentions & breaking on the football.
OL: Riley Sherman, 6’2″ 285, Ontario
A rugged guard prospect that plays with an edge and can displace defenders on his own. Sherman plays with heavy hands and consistently lands his punch on the breastplate. His mixture of raw strength, physicality, and patience as a pass protector make him an interesting guard at the next level.
LB: Luca Farinaccio, 6’1″ 210, Ontario
Luca chose to play his high school ball in the U.S. and has excelled totaling 82 tackles and 14 TFLs in 2022. On film, he’s got a quick trigger, has no hesitations filling gaps on the inside, and can shoot & slip smaller gaps between the tackles. He keeps his shoulders square to the line of scrimmage, he reroutes slot receivers up the seam, and is a forceful tackler on impact. Luca can make tough tackles when out-leveraged and will add value as a special teamer.
RB/DB: Nathan Lowden Nathan Lowden 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Vancouver College | 2025 State CAD 5’10” 170, Vancouver
Lowden is a sudden back with outstanding wiggle and makes defenders look silly in space. He’s got breakaway speed, can add power when the time calls for it, and has natural contact balance. On the defensive side, he does a great job of overlapping in zone coverage, he consistently stays over the top of targets & breaks forward on the football, and has loose hips.
