Continue ReadingAvery has quietly been having a very nice off-season and is coming off a impressive 2022 campaign. He has since transferred to El Cerrito and is a very nice addition to what should be one of the top teams in the NCS D-II bracket. Army, Columbia and Utah State have already offered, and it should not be long until other schools follow suit. He is a smooth athlete for a bigger back, packs a punch in the hole with sneaky open field speed with a burst to gain the edge and break away.
Golden is a burner out of the backfield or in the slot, and has been one of the top backs across Norcal for several seasons now. He is a smooth athlete with long strides, can make defenders miss in the open field and shows some wiggle in-between the tackles with cutback abilities and vision. Look for Golden to have a monster senior season for McClymonds and be one of the top offensive weapons across the Bay.
Highlights
The lead back for one of the top teams in the state, the rising Senior is a violent runner that packs a punch at the POA and looks for contact in the hole. He is a low to the ground compact runner with forward lean, leg drive and shows good vision in tight windows, with elite subtle movement and jump-cut abilities. He is also a natural receiver out of the backfield, getting upfield quickly and able to make off-platform catches look easy. Look for the Pau Mandoza to be one of the top backs in Norcal come this Fall.
