Anquon Fegans Anquon Fegans 6’0″ | 165 lbs | DB Thompson | 2025 State AL is one of the top DB prospects in not only the 2025 class, but the whole nation as well- in his time at Thompson, Fegans has been unbelievably productive- and he’s got a whole lot more in the tank to show off this year. Fegans has some exceptional skills and instincts that allow him to read quarterbacks, track the ball, and make game-changing interceptions in huge moments. His ability to anticipate plays and be in the right position at the right time is truly remarkable. When you pair that with his size and speed as well Fegans becomes an incredibly difficult matchup for opposing receivers to try and overcome, as he can cover a wide range of players effectively. Last fall, Fegans had a big year where he posted up 67 total tackles, 9 interceptions, and 11 pass breakups- solidifying himself as one of the top ball hawks in the state! Recently, Fegans pledged his commitment to USC where he will be joining his brother on the field again!
Derick Smith Derick Smith 6’2″ | 180 lbs | WR Southside | 2025 State AL is one of the top prospects in the 2025 class and has thrived on both sides of the ball at WR and DB for Southside the last two years. Smith has some unbelievable athleticism and instincts that allow him to read plays, break up passes, and disrupt the opposing offense. Smith’s physicality and ability to track the ball make him a reliable presence in the secondary, capable of making impactful plays against both the run and pass- he never shies away from getting low to deliver big hits, and does a great job sticking to targets and not letting anything get thrown to his assignments. Although his production on offense has been superb- 51 carries for 966 yards and 8 touchdowns as well as 57 receptions for 1391 yards and 10 touchdowns- Smith has been a huge factor on defense as well. At DB, Smith recorded 98 total tackles (14 for loss), 4 sacks, 8 interceptions, and 13 pass breakups. With production, skill and talent like that, Smith has gone far from unnoticed at the next level- he’s picked up offers from Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and many other top tier programs!
Elijah Hall has done it all for Booker T Washington- producing as an electric dual threat QB and a ball hawking DB throughout the last few years. Hall has some excellent closing speed and the agility to break up passes/make interceptions and when that pairs up with his physical playstyle, he becomes a very difficult member of the opposing secondary to gameplan around. Hall does a great job using his size and strength to disrupt receivers and make impactful tackles- his willingness to deliver hard hits and talent to jar the ball loose adds an extra dimension to his game. Hall has made a huge statistical impact on Booker T Washington in many areas- at QB he’s manage to total up 1767 yards and 22 touchdowns through the air with an additional 1839 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground. Defensively, Hall has been a shutdown DB that has put up 56 total tackles (7 tackles for loss) 8 interceptions, and 2 pass breakups, Recently, Hall committed to Troy!

Jermaine McCree Jermaine McCree 5’11” | 160 lbs | DB Williamson | 2026 State AL is coming off a bigtime freshman season at Williamson where he made play after play in their secondary all fall. In man coverage, McCree’s speed allows him to stick with receivers and mirror their movements effectively- he has quick hips and excellent change-of-direction skills that allow him to stay in close proximity to his assigned target to make plays on the ball. McCree also plays with a bunch of physicality-he is not afraid to deliver big hits and is known for his sure tackling technique, it doesn’t matter if he’s bringing down a ball carrier in the open field or providing run support, McCree’s physical presence is felt on the field by opposing offenses on a very consistent basis. McCree had a big first year- he put up 26 total tackles, 5 interceptions, and 6 pass breakups! McCree has picked up offers from UAB, Texas A@M, and more!
