There is always a player popping up making noise that we have never heard of before. There are also guys that just don’t have any offers yet. They are on the radars of a lot of colleges but have yet to receiver offers. Let’s check it out.
Matthew Perkins Matthew Perkins 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Madison Ridgeland Academy | 2025 State MS , WR, MRA
Perkins is one of the most talented prospects in the 2025 class. He is very fast with a lot of athleticisms that helps him be dominant on the football field. Perkins is a beast at the defensive back position. I think that is going to be what he plays on the next level. His awareness on defense is through the roof. He is a player that always know where the football. Perkins can cover or come up in the box to help on the run. He is one of the most exciting players in this class.
Trevionn Morton Trevionn Morton 6'2" | 190 lbs | DB Wingfield | 2025 State MS , DB, Jackson Wingfield
Morton is one of the best defensive backs in the 2025 class. He knows how to be very efficient in man-to-man coverage. Morton also is super-fast with great hips. He isn’t going to get caught out of position a lot. Morton is going to have the opportunity to play football on the next level. I think that he can be a player that makes it on the division one level. He is a player that could see his stock rise after this season.
Nik Owens, DT, Nettleton
Owens is a big boy that really isn’t all the way under the radar. Owens holds a power five offer. He just hasn’t blown up the way we think he is going to yet. Owens has a lot of size with a lot of upsides. Owens is a prospect that is definitely headed in the direction of being a power five player. We are going to be keeping up with Owens.
Kenzy West, WR, Hartfield Academy
West is a guy that has some upsides. He is a true competitor that loves to learn. The way he approaches the game every week comes from a true warrior’s heart. West has some good hands. He doesn’t have to use his body to catch the football.
