Quarterback | Dizzy Dean Dizzy Dean QB Elkins | 2024 State AR | Elkins
This quarterback is truly reminiscent of his namesake, the famous righty hurler of the St. Louis Cardinals, in his incredible ability to spot his throws with pinpoint accuracy. He has already captured the attention of collegiate coaches, receiving an offer from Central Missouri. Dean’s (6-2, 190) accuracy is not dependent on his ability to stay in the pocket, either; even when he’s being chased and forced to throw on the move, his precision remains unaffected and he demonstrates surprising power in his throws. When he’s in the pocket, his rhythm and timing are impeccable, perfectly synced with his dropbacks and the routes of his receivers. Perhaps what is most impressive about Dean, however, is his football IQ and his ability to progress from his first read and so on through his progressions to avoid forcing throws that aren’t there.
Quarterback | Kobe Cunningham Kobe Cunningham 6'1" | 210 lbs | QB Fordyce | 2024 State AR | Fordyce
With a bench of 265 and squat measures of 500 pounds, Kobe Cunningham Kobe Cunningham 6'1" | 210 lbs | QB Fordyce | 2024 State AR is an absolute tank playing the quarterback position. Standing at 6 feet and a weight of 210 pounds, Cunningham can also boast a 4.5 40-yard dash. Cunningham flashed the potential of elite accuracy in his junior season but has more than improved in this area of his game according to his spring and summer workouts ahead of the 2023 season. Cunningham’s release is unbelievably quick, which leads to quick pre-snap decisions close to the line of scrimmage and home run screen passes before defenses can successfully adjust. With his 4.5 speed and squat measures, Cunningham is also a home run threat if he pulls the ball to pick up yardage on the ground and punishes as he runs with weak tacklers.
Running Back | Jabron Lewis Jabron Lewis 6'1" | RB Little Rock Southwest | 2024 State AR | Little Rock Southwest
With an impressive 1,000-yard junior season, Jabron Lewis Jabron Lewis 6'1" | RB Little Rock Southwest | 2024 State AR has already received an offer from UT-Martin and has attended camps at Arkansas State, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. He has shown great potential at each of these camps, and it’s clear that he has the talent to excel at the next level. At 6-1 and 200 pounds, Lewis has the size and strength to overpower missed tacklers and the speed to take advantage of weak defenses. His relentless running style makes him a force to be reckoned with on the inside of the formation, and he often picks up large chunks of yardage even after initial contact.
Running Back | Chelton Murdock Chelton Murdock 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Bauxite | 2024 State AR | Bauxite
Chelton Murdock Chelton Murdock 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Bauxite | 2024 State AR (5-9, 170) is incredibly agile with his cuts and change of direction are very fluid. He wastes no motion as he weaves in and out of trouble quickly. Murdock is a determined runner who keeps his feet churning through contact. He has also adapted an effective spin move that he shows comfort in using when defensive players approach him with weak tackle attempts. With an offer from Hendrix College in Conway, Murdock is sure to broaden his recruiting reach with another impressive performance this fall.
Running Back | Caden Henderson Caden Henderson 5'7" | 150 lbs | RB Conway | 2024 State AR | Conway
Caden Henderson Caden Henderson 5'7" | 150 lbs | RB Conway | 2024 State AR (5-7, 150) is a small but feisty runner for the Conway Wampus Cats. Henderson is known for delivering big hits on defensive players to gain extra yards and crucial first downs. He has an innate ability to weave in and out of trouble with a running style that seems to come naturally from this body style and uses his low leverage to his advantage. Henderson runs with a massive chip on his shoulder and looks to create any and every opportunity for himself to create extra yards while driving piles. What might seem to come in small packages often packs the biggest punch, this is what exemplifies Henderson.
Tight End | Kealen Juniel | Malvern
A recent commit to Butch Jones and the Arkansas State Red Wolves, Kealen Juniel is a difference-maker for the Malvern Leopards. Juniel chose Arkansas State over offers from Memphis, UNLV, Navy, Alabama A&M, Ouachita Baptist, Southern Illinois, UT-Martion, and SEMO. He is a match-up nightmare for any defensive coordinator week-to-week standing at 6 foot 4 and weighing 235, he is the centerpiece for the Malvern offense. Juniel is a true tight end who takes just as much pride in his blocking abilities as his offensive production, this mindset has seemed to help him well as he is one of the most well-rounded players at his position in the state. His route-running abilities are top tier and has the skills to line up in the slot to take advantage of the match-ups line backs and nickel backs provide with a player of his size. Once he has the ball in his hands, Juniel is agile and quick enough to cause missed tackle attempts from the swiftest of defensive backs and score from any portion of the field.
Tight End | Jagger Gordon Jagger Gordon 6'3" | 185 lbs | TE Farmington | 2024 State AR | Farmington
Jagger Gordon Jagger Gordon 6'3" | 185 lbs | TE Farmington | 2024 State AR is enjoying a busy camp season as he has been present at UCA, Lyon, and has an upcoming camp at Arkansas State. Obtaining a 6-3 frame and weighing 185, Gordon also has 4.7 speed at the tight end position which makes most coaches envious of his skills to leave defenses in the rearview mirror on his seam route catches. Not only does he have great speed, but Gordon can boast next-level route running with his proficient sticks and quick transitions to keep his defenders off balance.
