There was no shortage of talent from the teams that took advantage of the exposure provided by recruiting services and fan websites.
Those teams who signed up and didn’t show, truly did their players wrong and took that valuable competition and summer exposure away from them.
Unlike many scouting services and news organizations across the state who choose to do their work from a home computer, we had the pleasure of walking around and evaluating players while meeting coaches and seeing some of their stars for the present as well as the future.
All this week, we will recap some of the talent that we saw – and showed why they are being looked at by several colleges and universities nationally.
Here is a look at five more prospects that you may not have heard about.
2025 – Carl Jenkins Jr. Carl Jenkins Jr. 6'3" | 165 lbs | WR St. Augustine | 2025 State FL , WR, 6-3, 165, St. Augustine. With offers from schools such as Texas A&M, UCF, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Wisconsin and others, this is certainly someone who has made a major impact. Watch him play and you can see why schools are gravitating toward this impressive talent. His size, quickness and athletic ability make him one of the top rising players in the state. Came up huge in The Villages and weekend.
2025 – Adonis Moise, WR, 6-3, 165 Palmetto. The moment he takes the field you already know that this is someone very special. Coach Rashad West has a real good football player with this young man who brings it all to the table as a football prospect and a student (3.7 GPA). Watching him throughout the tournament, he created mismatches with everything he has to offer. This is a gifted prospect who will continue to blow up and receive plenty of offers.
2024 – Alex Nash, CB, 6-0, 175, Harmony. The recent Central Michigan commitment is truly a special football talent who embraces the leadership role, heading into his senior season. Watching him during the tournament, you can see a quick and instinctive football player, who dominated in several games at the tournament. He is physical and athletic, which adds up to a very impressive player to watch.
2025 – Jabari Smith Jabari Smith 5'11" | 190 lbs | WR Apopka Wekiva | 2025 FL , FS/CB, 5-10, 165, Apopka Wekiva. This is a rising prospect who has enjoyed a productive summer with his team playing in several events throughout the state and coming up big along the way. After a 10-interception tournament at the University of South Florida, the Bulls offered this quality prospect.
2026 – Darryon Williams Darryon Williams 5'11" | 165 lbs | ATH Tampa Gaither | 2026 State FL , CB/Athlete, 5-11, 165, Tampa Plant. After making the move over from Steinbrenner this summer, this impressive athlete has started to blow up for a Panthers team that is impressive. In the tournament, Williams was a solid outside cornerback and helped Plant’s Gold team reach the semifinals. He broke up several passes and looked very much like someone who is ready to have a breakout season.
