The 6’6, 305 lb tackle from Mundelein is one of the top offensive linemen in the state. Hansen moves extremely well for his frame. He possesses the nastiness that road graders need in the run game. He takes advantage of undersized defensive linemen by using his size and strength to blow them off the ball. Hansen is also a threat on the edge when pulling or working up to the second level in Mundelein’s zone schemes. The Illinois commit should fit perfectly in Brett Bielema’s program, as he possesses the toughness, physicality, and nastiness to have a successful career at the next level.
Highlights
Aghakhan is the definition of a high motor defensive lineman. The 6’2, 245 product from Lincolnshire uses a variety of pass rush moves to defeat 1 on 1 matchup against offensive lineman. He has an impressive ability to put his foot in the ground and redirect against different run plays. He is a physical tackler with a knack for getting after the quarterback. Aghakhan boasted 12 sacks and 70+ tackles while playing in multiple spots on the DL. Whether in a 3 technique or a 5 technique, Aghakhan finds a way to get to the QB.
Highlights
Tommie Aberle
Tommie Aberle
The 6’2, 180 pound Lake Forest linebacker is a jack of all trades. He is equally as impressive rushing the quarterback or scraping in the run game as he is defending the pass. Aberle is one of the more instinctual football players you will see. He has a natural ability to jump short throws, best highlighted by his 3 INT’s last season. Additionally, Aberle showcased 86 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 8 sacks in his junior year. As he matures and adds weight, Aberle could finish his senior year as one of the better inside linebackers in the state.
Lincoln Adams
Lincoln Adams
Adams is a true 3-4 outside linebacker. He has a solid frame, standing at 6”1 and weighing 195 pounds. The Lake Zurich Bear’s LB plays with strong physicality and gets downhill quickly in the run game. He has the ability to meet offensive linemen at the line of scrimmage and drive them back with force. Adams is a sure handed tackler and looks natural dropping in the pass game. As he heads into his senior season, look for Adams stock to rise.
Logan Uihlein
Logan Uihlein
Uihlein measures in at 6’2, 250 pounds. While he is a little undersized for an offensive tackle, his athleticism and strength allows for him to dominate in a variety of situations. Uihlein is smooth when blocking down field and working up to defensive backs or linebackers in the screen game. He closes space well in pass pro and has fantastic footwork that allows him to win his 1 on 1 blocks. Uihlein delivers a solid punch in the run game while knocking defenders back. As he adds weight heading into his senior year, Uihlein should be a force in the North Suburban Conference.
