Temperance Bedford had a nice season last year winning 8 games and defeating rival Saline for the first team since 2013. While Bedford does lose several talented seniors from a year ago, they also bring back a good core of young players. These are a few key guys that played very well last year and will have a big role in 2023.

Owen Przybylski- RB- Hudl

Przybylski has good burst and can get outside and pick up yards in a hurry. Bedford liked to run toss plays to Przybylski to utilize his speed. I watched Bedford play a lot last year and Przybylski was always a guy who stood out. The coaching staff thought highly of his ability as well by giving him a lot of snaps as just a true sophomore. Przybylski has good change of direction and has ability to make defenders miss in the open field. Przybylski has good play strength and it shows up in his ability to make strong blocks in the open field. I am a big fan of his game and he will certainly be a game changer for the Bedford offense in 2023.

Brody Leonhard- QB- Hudl

Leonhard did a really nice job at quarterback last year for Bedford. Leonhard played a huge part in Bedford getting the win over rival Saline. Leonhard plays very composed and runs the offense very well. Leonhard is a very good athlete who can make accurate throws on the move. Leonhard throws with good touch as well. He has very good competitive toughness and will take hits and pop right back up. Leonhard loves to step up in the big games for his team and will certainly play a role in their success this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='851680' first='Kyle' last='Klocek']- OL- Hudl

Klocek does a good job of executing blocks on the move. He has very good body control and does a nice job of making sure to engage defenders in a strong athletic position. Klocek can get off the ball quickly. Combining his quickness off the ball with his overall strength and athleticism you get a guy who can sustain blocks very well. Klocek has good side-to-side movement and it helps him to stay in front of speedy edge rushers. Klocek's blocking ability will be key in Bedford creating more big plays in 2023.

Nolan Laskey-DL-Hudl

Laskey shows good instincts and knows when to get his hand up to deflect passes. Bedford likes to play Laskey at the end of line as a true edge rusher. He is effective off the snap and can line up with his hand in the ground or standing up in a two-point stance. His quickness when the ball is snapped combined with his burst gives him the ability to get around offensive tackles. Laskey has good pursuit and is effective at chasing down ball carriers. Laskey had a knack for creating turnovers for Bedford, recovering multiple fumbles. Laskey's speed to attack the outside of tackles helps him to be able to win with inside moves as well.
