VILLAGE CHRISTIAN
Village Christian is led by returning sophomore quarterback Chase Everett Chase Everett 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Sierra Canyon | 2026 State CA who threw for 2490 yards with 26 touchdowns as a freshman. Ryan Dellutri is a receiver to keep an eye on for Village Christian as well as Tyes Mccondichie Tyes Mccondichie 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB Village Christian | 2026 State CA .
SAN DIMAS
San Dimas went 5-2 on the day with a loss in the opening game to Diamond Bar and a loss in the finals to Village Christian. They redeemed themselves by beating Diamond Bar in the semifinals.
According to coach Mark Holman, Julian Vigil Julian Vigil 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB San Dimas | 2025 State CA had six or seven interceptions on defense and also had a big day on offense. Running back Caleb Morquecho and tight end Robert Alvarez also had big days on offense. Quarterback Jacob Gonzalez progressed and improved as the day went on.
Defensively, defensive backs Drew Fierro and Brian Jackson performed well along with linebacker Roque Dominguez.
DIAMOND BAR
The unquestioned MVP of the day for Diamond Bar was junior receiver and defensive back Brian Vu Brian Vu 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR Diamond Bar | 2025 State CA who had eight touchdowns and five interceptions. According to coach Matt Castaneda, tight end Luis Vasquez was a matchup nightmare for opposing teams at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds.
Retuning All-League linebacker Matthew Galvan Matthew Galvan 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Diamond Bar | 2025 State CA led the defensive effort with three interceptions.
BALDWIN PARK
Coach Robert Maxie is in his first season as the head coach at Baldwin Park and his team performed well on Saturday. According to Maxie, quarterback Jacob Garcia Jacob Garcia 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Baldwin Park | 2025 State CA had a nice day. Two athletes Caleb Calvin Caleb Calvin 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR Damien | 2025 State CA and Arion Lang Arion Lang 5'11" | 165 lbs | ATH Calabasas | 2025 State CA were standouts along with receiver Elvis Diaz.
Baldwin Park’s defense was led by linebacker Corey Lacy and safeties Randle Tebo and Chase Blackwell.
OTHER
Monrovia may be under new coaching staff, but returning quarterback Brian Salazer Jr. lit it up on Saturday as expected. He is one of the top quarterbacks in the San Gabriel Valley.
