CHAMPIONSHIP GAME HIGHLIGHTS
Spartanburg’s JV team defeated Catawba Ridge, as we mentioned in our standouts story.
- Spartanburg’s Torrien Davis showed off his speed on a post route for a touchdown. He has an offer from Coastal Carolina.
- Catawba Ridge’s Jackson Burger displayed good closing speed on an out route. He’s a physical linebacker who can move around. Burger currently holds an offer from Limestone University.
- Spartanburg’s Zy Williams Bonds made an excellent sliding catch.
- Spartanburg’s Trey Burke, who we mentioned in our standouts article showed patience in waiting for the route to open
- Catawba Ridge’s Preston Cooper made a great catch near the sideline towards the end of the session – he was a standout throughout the day.
MOVING QUICKLY
Catawba Ridge’s Rasean Marajah Rasean Marajah 6'0" | 225 lbs | LB Catawba Ridge | 2025 SC played both offense and defense, but he made a sequence of two plays where he stepped in front of a throw, making a wonderful break on the ball. He intercepted the ball on the next play.
Catawba Ridge’s DJ Lattimore made a nice pass break up to end a drive.
Rock Hill’s Jeremiah Hines ran a route at full speed allowing him to run right underneath it and catch it right in stride. Kyle Barber also had a nice catch and run on the out route during the morning session.
ADDITIONAL RESULTS
Catawba Ridge defeated Parkwood, Providence before advancing to the championship game.
Spartanburg defeated Rock Hill to advance to the championship game.
Rock Hill’s B Team won the consolation side of the bracket.
