He showed to be very effective running routes out of the backfield, running right passed linebackers and the secondary into open field. He has very good burst and makes big plays out of nothing. Martinez has some serious speed and shows incredible drive off of the snap. His quickness and ability to create separation is top notch. Try to press him and you are beat. Play off and he will beat you short and take off for another 20 yards. Martinez has good foot work and knows where to fit in zones, locating the soft spot and taking advantage of the space. He is also a lethal runner with the ball in his hands, racking up the YAC putting his team in the best positions. Martinez finished the season with 831 yards and 6 touchdowns on 42 catches, including a 5 catch, 214 yards, and 3 td game. He has earned his spot and has definitely caught the eyes of us! His route running is smooth, he is quick off of the snap, and shows very strong hands with great vision after the catch. James finished his junior season with 51 catches, 909 yards, and 9 touchdowns. Rives takes the top off of a secondary and provides the big play for his team. He is a consistent catcher who you can rely on to make that play when you need it and is so elusive with the ball in his possession it looks like a video game. This passed season Rives racked up 621 yards and 6 touchdowns on 24 catches. He understands the game well, working back to his quarterback when needed and finding weak spots in a zone. Barnes put up some ridiculous numbers this passed season, catching 58 passes for 1,167 yards and 14 touchdowns.
