It has been an extremely busy week from a recruiting perspective. We can think of this as the first facet of news to start the new week. Sit back and let's get caught up from last week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor']-Offensive Line-Greenwood-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greenwood Bulldogs are loaded with talented prospects with the potential to play on Saturdays in the future. Tackle [player_tooltip player_id='364854' first='Cody' last='Taylor'] fits that description perfectly. Taylor is an offensive lineman that has the speed and power combination that can terrorize the opposing defensive line. He is a guard that not only can clear a path for the rushing attack but also protect the quarterback. Taylor hit the camp circuit this week having strong camps at the University of Oklahoma and University of Nebraska. Look for a strong season from the Greenwood offensive lineman.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='344677' first='Braxton' last='Nixon']-Defensive Line-Conway-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='344677' first='Braxton' last='Nixon'] is a defensive lineman that can work all along the defensive front for the Wampus Cats. He uses his speed well to defeat blocks and get into the opposing offensive backfield. Nixon does an impressive job of disrupting the passing game and affecting the quarterback's timing. The talented Conway defensive lineman earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas Baptist earlier in the week. He has the potential to have a strong season for the Wampus Cats this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='236139' first='Omarion' last='Robinson']-Defensive Back-Little Rock Parkview-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Parkview Patriot has had a busy week hitting the West Coast on his recruiting tour. Robinson is a versatile player on both sides of the ball. However, it is his talent in the secondary that has schools recruiting him intensely. Robinson has earned offers from Oregon, San Diego State, and California. His recruiting has started to blow up and he is just getting started. I expect another strong season from the talented Parkview safety.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='857724' first='Derick' last='King']-Athlete-Blytheville-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Versatility is a great trait to have, and [player_tooltip player_id='857724' first='Derick' last='King'] has plenty of it. King put that versatility on display in Jonesboro last week. On the offensive side of the ball, King showed that he has the speed to stretch the field vertically. He has the hands to haul in anything thrown in his direction which helps on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball he has the ability to terrorize opposing wide receivers. Keep an eye on King this upcoming season, he has the potential to have a strong season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='816606' first='Zachary' last='Easterling']-Defensive Back-Joe T. Robinson-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With performance camps being held all over the United States. [player_tooltip player_id='816606' first='Zachary' last='Easterling'] gave an impressive performance at the Grambling State last week. Easterling displayed his coverage ability in one-on-one competition. He plays the ball well in the air and has no problem getting physical with opposing wide receivers. Easterling is another prospect on Robinson that has the potential to have an impressive season this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='280305' first='Brian' last='Huff']-Linebacker-Valley View-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past few months, [player_tooltip player_id='280305' first='Brian' last='Huff'] has built serious recruiting momentum. The Arkansas Razorbacks extended a scholarship offer their way early in the recruiting process. Huff has tremendous speed and does a great job of completely blowing up plays in the offensive backfield. Huff is a linebacker that can drop back into coverage and adversely affect the passing game of the opposition. Huff is a major target for the Razorbacks and his recruitment is one to pay attention to over the next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
