There are various ways that teams can use speed to their advantage: attacking upfield fast, getting shots away quickly after turning the ball over, or moving the ball quickly to pull the opposition out of position. This is why it is the most asked-about trait that college coaches look for in recruits. Can the recruit move?? Does he have a motor? How fast can he go sideline to sideline? How fast is his straight line vertical speed? etc…
The BONE (Best of New England) camp at Springfield College was again a huge success on Friday 6/16/23. The” following athletes below recorded the fastest 40-yrd times reported. This report includes each player’s “top traits” after viewing his 2022 highlight film.

Player traits to know: High level athletic coordination. On defense his field vision and awareness is solid combined with excellent reactionary skills. On offense, he looks to get upfield quickly after the catch for YAC.
