Trainer Fielding; has earned a name for himself as a top Trainer within the New England region training high school and middle school linebackers on a year round basis. The program name “Linebacker U”, has caught the attention of many high school-middle school linebackers in New England seeking to get this specialized training. Jay played the linebacker position during his high school and college years. He now offers a very competitive, effective and successful program that recruits can train in to help their development.
In this report, I will preview the student-athletes (linebackers), that are training with Coach Fielding and also provide his analysis of each of the linebacker recruits he trains. I look forward to providing this type of content from Coach Fielding as he provides it to Prep Redzone New England moving forward..

Trainer Jay Fielding Comments: Having worked with John for 5 months I am impressed with his overall speed. He possesses exceptional lateral quickness for a Linebacker. He has incredible hip mobility and he can open his hips up quickly while getting into his pass drops in zone coverage. He has the speed to match up with a RB/TE in Man to Man Coverage. His strength in the weight room allows him to control Offensive lineman that outweigh him by 80lbs. He is the complete Linebacker and will be one of the best in New England in 2024.rn-Coach Jay Fielding LBU/PactPerformance

Trainer Jay Fielding Comments: Aidan is a versatile athlete that has both the side and speed to play inside the box and cover downfield as a Linebacker. He has very good lateral speed and can get down hill quickly while under control. He can transition in and out of breaks while keeping proper running form. He possesses great lower body strength and the explosiveness from his posterior chain allows him to create separation while taking on offensive lineman inside the box. Aidan has very football IQ as once he is given instruction either verbally or through a model prompt he is able to execute on command. Aidan will be one of the top Linebackers in the class of 2025 in New England-Coach Jay Fielding LBU/Pact Performance

Trainer Jay Fielding Comments: Mike is a technician when it comes to playing the Linebacker position. From my experience working with him during LBU sessions, his technique is what separates him from the group. He is also a strong and powerful athlete that uses his explosiveness to get off of blocks. His block destruction, quick and aggressive hands, coupled with his relentless motor make him a legit linebacker. He has very good lateral quickness and he can change direction while maintaining body posture. While working with him at B.O.N.E camp what stood out to me was his aggressiveness while pass rushing and his ability to bend and stay tight and low rushing around the edge. He is conditioned to play for 4 quarters and the kid goes all across the country to improve his game. He is the son of a great DC, so he understands how to lead a defense…. Mike will be one of the top Linebackers in MA in the fall of 2023

Trainer Jay Fielding Comments: From my 6 months of working closely with Christian during LBU, I will confidently say that he is a Division 1 football player. Christian has a very powerful story and he trains like his life is on the line. He has the size at 6-1 and 225lbs to be an unblock able force. He has the lateral quickness and speed to cover a lot of ground. He can get to the outside perimeter very quickly. At his size he is able to quickly drop into zone coverage efficiently and he has great hip mobility. He has the capability of forcing many turnovers this season as his physical style will force fumbles upon contact. He also has High Football IQ as he understands what everyone on defense is doing. Christian must be in the conversation when we are discussing the top Inside linebackers in New England.

Trainer Jay Fielding Comments: Liam is one of the most dedicated and committed Football players I have had train with me. He commutes over 2 hours 4 days a week to work on his Strength and Conditioning and his LB skills. He goes all across the country to showcase his talent and he loves the game of football. He has incredible measurable’s and this was his first experience following a legit S/C program. He is very fast for a linebacker with 4.6 speed, and he moves very well laterally. He covers a lot of ground and will make plays all over the field this fall in NH. He can play inside of the box as he is physical enough to destruct blocks. Can also be used as an apexed linebacker, has the speed to cover skill players. He is a game wrecker if he is sent on a blitz. He has an uncanny ability to sack the quarterback and get an offense out of rhythm. He will do whatever it takes to play at the next level and I believe he is a late bloomer and a steal for colleges in New England.
