We have broke down a few different positions for this camp. I want to go back and highlight some guys we may have looked over. Again, there were seven hundred prospects at this camp. Let's check it out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225021' first='Mario' last='Snell'], WR, Wingfield

Snell was showing that he is going to be a big time name this season. Snell has a lot of upsides. He has a lot of speed with great ball skills. Coach Watson has a few things up his sleeve for Snell. Snell has become a better route runner. The more he works on perfecting his routes, the more he will see his stock rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='123210' first='Dequadrion' last='Welch'], Noxubee, WR, 2024

Welch has been getting better everyday. He was on fire at this camp. He knows how to get open. Welch can run any route a coach needs him to run. He is already receiving division one attention. He was impressing a lot of division one coaches. Welch also was recently clocked at a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash. He has a few more camp visits that he plans to make this summer.

Radarron Leech, DT, Heritage Academy, 2025

Leech is a dog. He shows that every time he shows up to compete. Leech was very dominant in the one-on-one drills. He has a lot of lower body strength. He is also a quick quy. Leech moves very well. He isn't a big guy that is stiff. He is very light on his feet. Leech should see his stock rise after this off-season.

Sema'j Avery, Grenada, LB/S, 2025

Avery is another prospect who I have became a fan of this off-season. He comes from a good bloodline having a brother and cousin in the NFL. Avery moves very well. He runs a 4.62 40-yard dash. He has long arms, and we can't rule out safety as his true position. Avery does have a few things to polish up, but I love the way he competes. He can hold a few more pounds with the length he has.

[player_tooltip player_id='346420' first='Gavin' last='Griffin'], RB, Velma Jackson, 2024

Griffin was picking up some offers at this camp. This young man has seen his stock rise this summer. Griffin moved very well during drills. He also was out there making catches and running good routes during one-on-ones. He should see more offers coming this summer.

Stanley Gilmore, East Feliciana, RB, 2024

Gilmore was able to get to Mississippi to show off his skills. This young man is super athletic. He is light on his feet with great hands. There would be a lot of colleges happy to have him on campus. He also has some good size. Gilmore has been clocked at a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash. I'll be sure to keep up with his name.

[player_tooltip player_id='346404' first='Coby' last='Owens'], ATH, Saltillo, 2024

Owens showed up and worked out with the running backs. He did a great job of showing how good his hips are. Owens is going to be a perfect fit for hybrid linebacker/safety. He is built like a linebacker with long arms. Keep up with his name this season.
