Nathan Nwagwu Nathan Nwagwu 6'2" | 165 lbs | DB McAdory | 2024 State AL , DB, McAdory, 2024
Nwagwu is a very polished defensive back. I love the way he stays on top of receiver when they are running their route. He has some very good movements in his hips. He knows how to get his head around to find the football. Nwagwu is also very long with long arms. He does a great job of staying on a receiver’s top shoulder. Nwagwu has power five talent. He is going to see his stock rise soon.
Jalin Edwards Jalin Edwards 6'3" | 210 lbs | DL Grissom Highschool | 2024 State AL , DE/OLB, Grissom, 2024
Edwards is a long linebacker who also does a good job of being an edge rusher. Edwards is very elusive in the trenches. It isn’t to get a solid block on him. He is also a guy that stands out in their rush defense. His hands are violent. He get nimble on the speed rush. Edwards is a prospect to know. I’ll be keeping up with him all season.
Kamauri Austin Kamauri Austin 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Bryant | 2026 State AR , WR, Bryant (Ark), 2026
Austin has that dog in him. When he catches the football, he is trying to get to the end zone. Austin has some things to work on. His route running could be better. However, it is already evident that he is a power five guy. Austin is a 6-foot-3, 180 prospect with great upside. His long arms help him snatch balls out of the air that seem to be out of his range. He is a guy to know.
Alec Huskey, DB, Huntsville, 2024
Husker plays the game like an old school safety. He is very helpful when a running play is called. He knows how to come up and make solid hits on running backs. There is no question that he fits the description of a true safety. Huskey also has some very decent ball skills. I love to see him go up to grab the football. He is definitely a guy to keep up with. I’m anxious to see how his stock rises this off-season. Some schools want to see him move in drills and one on ones.
