Here, I will go through some Twitter film submissions and deliver some quick evals for a few intriguing prospects.
Emerson Russell Emerson Russell 5'6" | 150 lbs | RB Chelsea | 2024 State AL – 2024 – RB – Chelsea
- Extremely hard runner
- Joystick-like movements. Possesses rare short-area explosiveness.
- Runs with a lower center of gravity. He absorbs contact well and is not afraid to drop his shoulder and initiate contact.
- Reaches his top-end speed quickly and maintains it for a long distance.
Braxton Kitchens Braxton Kitchens 5'10" | 215 lbs | LB Dora | 2024 AL – 2024 – ILB – Dora
- Short and stocky build
- Old school, thumper-style LB.
- Good lateral movement to maintain outside leverage.
- Strikes from a solid foundation.
Davis Smith Davis Smith 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Auburn | 2024 AL – 2024 – DB/LS – Auburn
- Versatile defender on special teams. Gets downfield in a hurry from either the gunner spot or the long-snapper spot.
- Has the athleticism to cover ground on defense.
- Does a good job of slowing down and not over pursuing the returner.
- High upside as a defender. Has the speed and natural movement abilities to have a breakout season in the fall.
Wyatt Trexler – 2024 – LB – Auburn
- Twitchy, explosive LB prospect
- Flies to the football with intensity and violence.
- Effective blitzer that can slip by blockers. He can also strike blockers to knock them off-balance and create separation for himself.
- Can level ball carriers when left untouched. Plays with no regard for safety, in a good, controlled manner.
Alex Pacheco-Garcia – 2024 – QB – Next Level Academy
- Coming over from Europe. Was a highly regarded QB prospect in Spain.
- Has a quick trigger, delivers the ball with little to no hesitation.
- Throws a smooth, catchable ball with the ability to hit receivers in stride.
- Has the arm strength to drive the ball into tight windows and place the ball behind the safeties.
- Shows good athleticism and agility when he gets out on the run.
