Here I take a look at some of the quarterbacks in attendance who stood out to me at the event.
Joseph Federer

Parkway West | 2024

| Parkway West |
I’ve written about Federer and his outstanding performances at combines and camps throughout early 2023 where he showcased his speed, athleticism and throwing ability. He appeared to be in mid-season form with his Longhorns at the camp. While he is an outstanding athlete, Federer also has the goods as a quarterback with his ability to read the field and find his open receivers. He showed patience and poise, and seems to be playing the game at a different speed then others early in the summer. If not at quarterback on the next level, Federer would make a great slot receiver. For Parkway West he makes good decisions and is a threat to score using his feet or arm.
Hoyt Gregory

North Point | 2025

| North Point |
The 2025 big-time QB prospect had just picked up his first D1 offer, but you couldn’t tell it was on his mind as he was all business in trying to help his team win. Gregory has impressive size and athleticism that he utilizes well within the North Point offense, displaying a great command and understanding of it. He plays smoothly and more like a senior then someone heading into their junior year. He showed his strong arm and did a nice job spinning it with accuracy and the ability to make all the throws. He is also a great runner at 6’3″ 210 and has some shake to his running along with strength.
Dakarri Hollis

Lutheran North | 2025

| Lutheran North |
The other 2025 D1 QB prospect at the East Central camp led an explosive offensive output that saw his Crusaders score at will, including the first 4-5 times they had the ball against one team. Hollis is another smooth operator as a signal-caller, and really plays within himself. He also shows the ability of playing at a different speed and not rushing plays or showing fear of opponents pass rush. He is also very fast and a good enough runner to pull the ball down when a play isn’t there and take off and make a long TD run.
Jonathan Moore
Jonathan
Moore
6'0" | 200 lbs | ATH
Lutheran North | 2027
MO
| Lutheran North |
This 2027 big-time talent will only be a freshman in the fall but certainly did not play like it. Moore already has a great understanding and command of the Crusader offense, and made play after play both through the air and running the ball himself. He is a true dual threat, and has the running ability of a tailback, along with a big arm and nice passing ability. He had one really great run down the sideline he took off for a touchdown that impressed both teams and coaches. He’ll be a name to watch for the future, but will also be a weapon that North and utilize this season as well despite already having a D1 QB as their starter.
Collin Sinclair

Orchard Farm | 2026

| Orchard Farm |
This impressive 2026 QB started as freshman for the Eagles last year and threw for over 1,200 yards. He picked up where he left off and looks to keep improving as a QB every time I see him. Sinclair has good size and is an above average athlete. He not only has good throwing ability, passing skills and understanding of the pass game, but he is a true dual threat that can pick up good yardage on the ground either by design or on a scramble. He had over 500 yards rushing last season as well. He did a nice job leading his team and keeping the offense on the move.
Donovan Green | Lutheran St. Charles |
The 6’2″ 190 senior-to-be is in a battle to find out who will be QB1 but he stood out to me on both days I saw him leading his Cougars. Green is a good athlete and showed a big arm with the best accuracy of those fighting for the position. He also was calm and let plays unfold, taking what defenses allowed and not forcing things either passing the ball or taking off on a run, without a lot of protection. He looks like he can be a playmaker through the air or with his feet if need be.
Brett Ottensmeyer

Parkway West | 2026

| Parkway West |
While Federer is the present there is no doubt that the 2026 QB Ottensmeyer is the future. The 6’3″ 2026 QB has shown very good talent and ability over the last year with his team and in the offseason with Boom 7v7 team. At the East Central Camp he made the most of his chances while running the team and looked good doing so. He could probably start if pressed into action given his skills he possesses already. He has a strong accurate arm and showed a nice ability to make a variety of throws as needed. Definitely a name to watch for in the future.
