Liam Londergan
Seton Hall Prep’s Liam Londergan is a man that needs some more recognition. Earning 2nd team all division in 2022 at the quarterback position, Liam is a QB that is on the rise heading into his senior year. A pure athlete that will never give up on a play, Liam is confident standing in the pocket or when it’s time to tuck it and run.
Liam is a very accurate thrower whether he’s standing tall in the pocket or throwing on the run. He doesn’t get flustered when he gets pushed out of the pocket and he is able to maintain his eyes downfield and keep the play alive. Out of all of the film I have seen thus far, Liam has demonstrated maybe the best accuracy and timing with his receivers. He seems to have very good chemistry with his receivers and puts the ball where it needs to be. A great runner as well, Liam has surprisingly quick acceleration that catches defenders off guard, and often is the one delivering the hit anytime a defender gets close. With 23 total touchdowns in 2022, look for Liam to receive more looks this fall.
Chris Memmo
Chris Memmo
Chris Mimmo is another under the radar player from United Red that deserves more attention. Being on a loaded roster in 2022 for Bergen Catholic, 2023 will give Chris the opportunity to shows recruiters why he deserves the recognition. A versatile defender that can line up at multiple positions, Chris played predominately safety but also made an impact at cornerback and kick off coverage throughout the season. Chris is the type of player always ready to lay the hit on his opponent. Chris delivers punishing hits and fights ferociously to get to the ball carrier. He uses his arms to shake off blockers but also to get in between the ball and the receiver. With 46 total tackles and 2 interceptions in 2022, Chris is ready to make a name for himself this fall.
Playing safety for St. Peter’s Prep, Cam Richardson Cam Richardson 6’2″ | 185 lbs | DB Irvington | 2024 State NJ was able to bring the runner to the ground 49 times last fall. A sure tackler, Cam is the player you want as a last line of defense in the secondary. He has great speed and tackling skills, making it hard for any runner to get past him. Cam is strongest in his pass coverage and can cover sideline to sideline. He has the ability to mirror the receiver and get out of his back pedal quickly with excellent hip mobility and foot work.
A menace to all offensive linemen that line up across from him, Jordan Thomas Jordan Thomas 6’6″ | 265 lbs | DL Don Bosco | 2024 State NJ is the anchor for Don Bosco’s defense. Lining up as a defensive tackle, Jordan uses his long arms to manhandle ball carriers and extend blockers away from him. If you’re a ball carrier, there’s a slim chance you are getting away from his grasp once he has a hold of you. And even if you aren’t yet in his reach, he will use his quick footwork and lateral pursuit skills to make you run as far to the outside as you can. A player that shakes off blockers with ease, Jordan is a dominant force for Don Bosco.
Bergen Catholic has another excellent player in Marcus Linder Marcus Linder 6’1″ | 255 lbs | OL Bergen Catholic | 2024 NJ . The center for an amazing program, Marcus is the type of lineman that can hold his own against the strongest opponents. He is an extremely reliable down field blocker, as he chips defenders and sets up the screen for his running back. Anytime he is interlocked with a defender, you can be sure his feet are churning and he entered the scrum with better leverage than his opponent. Marcus is everything you could ask for in a center coming out of NJ.
