Saleapaga is a star in the making. He made a few of the best grabs of any player in the state, regardless of classification in 2022. He can win lining up inside or out and is one of the state’s top athletes. He possesses elite speed, and strength, all of which make him incredibly challenging to cover. When it comes to bringing in jump balls, there may be no better pass catcher in the state than Saleapaga. He’s a shifty route runner who can also moss anyone trying to cover him.

Kjar is our top-ranked receiver for his exceptional route running and several other impressive skills. His releases are sharp, and he doesn’t let corners jam him at the line. Kjar quickly gets in and out of his breaks and can change direction as quick as any receiver in the class. He can get open at every level of the field and excels at slipping behind defenses. Kjar does a great job adjusting to passes and can make tough grabs even as he’s being interfered with.

Kalama is arguably the state’s best pass catcher when it comes to making defenders miss in the open field. His shiftiness is elite, and his cuts leave defenders left wondering where he went. Countless times in 2022, defenders seemed to have him cornered, and Kalama found a way to break free. He can stop his momentum to let defenders fly by him before quickly regaining his top speed as he begins running again. His ability to bounce off defenders and stay up is only shared by the state’s top running backs.

Andrus is an exceptional tight end in every sense of the word. He can come up clutch for his team and move the chains on third and long. Andrus can also kick out defensive ends to open up holes in the running game. He’s an elite athlete and exceptional route runner who moves well in the open field. He can bring in balls even after being blasted by defenders. Andrus is also a quarterback’s best friend with his large catch radius. American Fork is lucky to have one of the state’s best tight ends in Utah on their side.
