Jermar McCarter Jermar McCarter 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Starkville | 2024 State MS , Starkville
McCarter is one of the most polished backers in this class. McCarter knows how to rush the quarterback. He is also a guy that can be helpful on the run. McCarter is also a guy that knows how to get busy with his hands. He is very active on running and passing plays. He has grown a lot this off-season.
Eric Moore, Ocean Springs
Moore is a linebacker that is very active. He is a guy that has several division one offers. Moore emerged onto the scene after last season. He is a physical linebacker that knows how to read. I love his energy on the football field. I think that he is going to make an impact very early next season.
Amarrien Bailey, Terry
Bailey is a shorter linebacker that packs a mean punch. He is a guy that has division one talent. Bailey plays on a high level every time he shows up at a camp. Bailey is also very aggressive. He is a linebacker that attacks the hole with a vengeance. He sheds blocks very well. There aren’t many offensive linemen that can get a solid block on him. I love the way he approaches his competition every week. He is a true leader.
Amarion Tyson Amarion Tyson 5'7" | 170 lbs | ATH Picayune Memorial | 2024 State MS , Picayune
Tyson is going to be a safety on the next level. However, in high school he is holding down the linebacker position just as good as anybody in the state. His sophomore season, he lead the state in tackles. Tyson is a guy that knows how to read. He gets in the backfield very fast. He is always making big plays. There aren’t many guys that can stop him when he gets going. Tyson is also very useful in zone coverage.
