This year over 200 players participated in the showcase at Harding High School in Charlotte, NC on a Thursday Night. Let’s take a look at the top Offensive Linemen from the showcase.
Khamari Lawson – Palisades – At 6’4 and 270 pounds, Khamari is one of the best offensive linemen in the Charlotte Metro Area. He has very good technique and footwork, and has added a good bit of strength to his frame this offseason. He has recently picked up two offers – from Alabama A&M and Limestone respectively. Lawson is in the 2024 class.

– JM Robinson – Canales is a very consistent performer in camps and showcases, placing in the top performers on a regular basis. He has a great dedication to his craft as a Class of 2024 prospect. At 6’3 and 290 pounds, Braylon can play center or guard at a high level. After the showcase, he picked up an offer from Livingstone College.
Jake Lynch – Lake Norman – Jake is a big strong 2024 OL prospect at 6’3 and 295 pounds. He also can play Center or Guard, similar to Braylon who we just highlighted. He excels in run blocking, using the impressive weight-room strength he has developed to play to the echo of the whistle and finish blocks aggressively. After the showcase, he picked up an offer from Livingstone College.
Justin Rogers – Central Cabarrus – Justin is a center prospect standing at 5’11 and 260 pounds. He uses his size very well as leverage to win against bigger defensive linemen, and was an all-conference player last season. I would expect Justin to continue receiving college interest through the fall as a 2024 prospect. I also think Justin has some impressive core strength as well.
Trey Rodriguez – Indian Land – At 6’1 and 260 pounds, Trey picked up an offer from Livingstone College immediately after the showcase. Trey showed very good footwork and agility going through drills, and I liked his ability to put those things together in one on one’s against Defensive Linemen. Trey is a prospect in the 2024 class, and should continue to receive college interest throughout his senior year.

– Jordan – Tyler just recently picked up his first college offer from Limestone University in South Carolina. At 6’3 and 280 pounds, Tyler plays Center, and that is some excellent size for that position. I like how well Tyler moved in space, which should translate working off double teams in the run game up to defenders at the 2nd level of the defense. Tyler is a 2024 prospect, and should really see his college interest increase as we get past camp season into the fall.
Matthew McDonald – Jordan – McDonald is a very good-looking offensive tackle prospect in the 2024 class, listed at 6’5 and 280 pounds. I like how athletic he is at that size, and he has some real potential to become a big-time player at the next level given the size and footwork ability he possesses. Matthew currently has an offer from Morgan State, and I’d expect as he continues to visit camps throughout the summer, his college interest should grow exponentially.
Gabriel Hernandez – Butler (MVP) – Our OL MVP was incredibly impressive, Gabriel simply locked down defensive linemen at the line of scrimmage during pass rush 1 on 1’s and did not allow them any upfield penetration. He is a 2025 prospect listed at 6’4 and 295 pounds. Sometimes it take a little longer for Offensive Linemen to get going from a recruiting perspective, but schools should be jumping on Gabriel right now. Excellent footwork and strength. He holds an offer from Virginia Tech currently.
Devonte Parkes – Cox Mill – I think Devonte can definitely help a program on the next level. He’s a 2024 prospect listed at 6’0 and 250 pounds, so I think he will have to be patient in the recruiting process as others players commit, and schools continue to work down their recruiting boards. But he has very good core strength and good footwork, I thought he had a good pass set especially during 1 on 1 drills.

– Butler – A 2024 prospect with the ability to play center and guard is always an asset. Jy’korri is listed at 6’2 and 265 pounds, and displays very good footwork in both run-blocking and pass-blocking drills. He showed a good, strong initial punch in pass protection and mirrored his defensive line opponent well in 1 on 1 drills. He has continued to impress as a player through other showcases this summer so far.
