Munford is a kid who has seen his stock rise. He plays with quickness. He is a dominant pass rusher and can fill the gap in the run game. He shows great upside and can play at a D1 level but wouldn’t be surprised if he has to go juco first. He had 63 tackles 11 sacks 3 punt blocks and 2 fumble recoveries. He is a high motor guy who would better fit an edge rusher role.
Devin Edwards
Devin Edwards
Edwards is an interesting player. He played DE and LB last season. His stats don’t jump out at you but watching films tells a different story. He plays with speed and power. This kid is always around the ball. He only had 35 tackles. He is putting in the off-season work to improve. Would love to see him improve on his pass rushing skills to go alone with his run support talent. Keep an eye on this kid.
Jordan Magee
Jordan Magee
Magee did it all this past season. He is a dual threat quarterback that has great upside. He can get in and out of cuts without losing speed. He had 1776 total yards. Has great foot work as a passer and above average arm strength. As a runner is where he did most of his work. rushing for almost 1k yardage. Look forward for his junior year to be a breakout season.
Josh Smith
Josh Smith
Smith is a massive kid that uses his power. He has been working on playing more violently with his hand. More of a run stopper. He is not going to have the sexy plays but will give you those hard nose blue collar plays. Do whatever the coaches ask of him. He has been putting in work this off-season and will be attending camps all across Mississippi this summer to improve his craft.
Leech is one of those kids that shock you with his ability. He is a high motor kid that plays with raw power. He has no problem getting off blocks. Will beat the double team. He has shown he can use his hands and understands how to split a double team. He squats over 500 lbs and benches over 350 lbs. Looking forward to seeing what his junior year holds.
