This year I thought it was the deepest talent pool yet in my two years of attending. This is an excellent showcase I recommend any Midwest prospect to attend if they play OL or DL, as they get verified measurables and video clips to send to college coaches and the best part excellent coaching from the whole crew at The Line!
We jump into Part I of my list of standouts and what they did to get their skillsets to pass the eye test on Saturday afternoon.
Isaac Beaver Isaac Beaver 6'2" | 250 lbs | DL Dowling Catholic | 2026 State IA , DL, Dowling Catholic (IA) 2026 Twitter
- Isaac was a defensive end prospect I got to know last year at our Prep Redzone NEXT Showcase, and holy cow has this kid took his game up several notches with his athletic frame and the big motor he carries.
- He showed off agile movement in 1v1s with great use of his hands and burst with his efficiency level on his first step. Isaac showed off a gifted football IQ and a ton of feisty hands and churning feet on Saturday at The Line Iowa.
- Anytime you overhear college coaches say “this kid is how old?” that is a pretty great impression that you have your presence known as Isaac Beaver Isaac Beaver 6'2" | 250 lbs | DL Dowling Catholic | 2026 State IA did on Saturday. He also showed a great change of directions in his lower body and consistently showed good balance in his pad-level. Certainly is one of Iowa’s top 2026 prospects overall in my eyes.
Noah Chartier Noah Chartier 6'0" | 240 lbs | OL Sioux City North | 2024 State IA , OL, Sioux City North (IA) 2024 Twitter
- Noah was a center prospect that impressed me in the early testing session at The Line Iowa OL/DL Showcase especially in the 10-yard split where he ran 1.55 at 5’10 nearly 240 pounds as before even getting the testing numbers this kid impressed with the speed of his footwork.
- The All-District OL from Sioux City North also showed excellent consistency within his pad level and aggressive punch speed with great balance for an undersized yet stock-rising center prospect.
- Noah is a certified mauler when you throw on the tape, as his physicality plays way bigger than what his measurables show and also can drive block a bigger defender off the line with just how balanced his overall skillsets are. Certainly will be a prospect playing on Saturdays in my opinion.
Nick Dillon, DL, Glenbard East (IL) 2024 Twitter
- Nick showed off in his first look from me a 6’0 220+ pound a defensive end prospect that I thought showed more value as a prospect in his 1v1 reps versus testing, although he did show solid change of direction mobility in the L-Drill and Pro-Agility.
- He showed off a significant amount of feist with the speed of his hands and the way he was able to rip swiftly thru the defender to get home into the backfield with also an intriguing first step from the get go.
- With college camp season around the corner, I think the biggest upside of growth for Nick is working on balancing his feet when he’s about to shed off his block as he has a plethora of short-speed burst but can add more reps to get that balance with a cleaner rip thru. Like this young man’s character as well.
Vinnie Keller Vinnie Keller 6'0" | 270 lbs | OL Clear Creek Amana | 2025 IA , OL, Clear Creek-Amana (IA) 2025 Twitter
- Time to meet the recent Prep Redzone Iowa-Nebraska MVP in Clear Creek-Amana’s Vinnie Keller Vinnie Keller 6'0" | 270 lbs | OL Clear Creek Amana | 2025 IA , who put up some intriguing numbers on Saturday that enlightened me to see him as a next-level prospect.
- I have always been impressed with Vinnie from a blue-collar work ethic perspective as an undersized OL prospect that each rep I have ever watched, consistently finds a way to get leverage. One thing that might help him get that leverage he gets is that his wingspan stretches out 3 inches exactly longer than his height which I found interesting.
- I have heard from a source that Vinnie is a workhorse in the weight room and watching his footwork continue to trend upwards as a stockriser in Iowa’s 2025 class this Spring, paints a solid picture of this kid playing on Saturdays in the future.
Brady Barrowman Brady Barrowman 6'5" | 275 lbs | OL Minooka | 2024 State IL , OL, Minooka (IL) 2024 Twitter
- Brady was a offensive line prospect that was one of the best offensive linemen from a physicality perspective on Saturday and also demonstrated soundly pad-levels all throughout the 1v1 drills on a very consistent basis.
- You also could tell that before you even watch his tape that Brady is a defined finisher in the trenches as he consistently won with his 1v1 reps with his massive strength he has from top to bottom in his 6’5 275 pound frame.
- Brady already has a slew of Division I offers, but I would expect him this summer to accumulate even more at the Power Five level as with his measureables, finishing ability, balanced footwork, I would expect this kid to have a massive summer on the recruiting trail.
