The Eagles’ three-phase standout, who also plays for school’s basketball program, helped lead Thursday’s state championship with his victory in the long jump (22-09.75), second-place finish in the high jump (6-02.00) and eighth-place finish in the triple jump (personal-record: 40-04.25).

He also finished eighth in the long jump (20-09.00).

The McNeese State-bound wide receiver won the triple jump with a season-best 44-04.75 mark and added another trio of personal bests with a 22-03.75 long jump for third place, 6-00.00 high jump for fourth place and 141-07 javelin throw for seventh.

Rising junior defensive back Jermaine Brown Jermaine Brown 5'9" | 170 lbs | DB Kentwood | 2025 LA highlighted his day with a pair of personal bests in the sprints — a 21.24-second 200-meter victory and 10.62-second 100-meter second-place finish — and an anchor leg to cap the Kangaroos’ season-best and meet-winning 4×200-meter relay (1:29.43). He also finished fifth in the long jump (22-02.50).

The 2026 standout headlined his Warriors’ efforts with a victory in the 110-meter hurdles (14.97 seconds). He also finished sixth in the 300-meter hurdles (43.06) and seventh in the 100-meter dash (11.07) and participated in the ninth-place 4×100-meter relay (57.16).

The 2026 wide receiver won the 400-meter run with a personal-record 49.73-second time and participated in the Kittens’ winning 4×400-meter relay (3:26.30).

Another of the title-winning Eagles’ versatile football prospects, Hogan, finished third in the 300-meter hurdles (42.00), fifth in the 110-meter hurdles (16.23) and ran legs of a pair of second-place finishing relays in the 4×200- and 4×400-meters.

The recent Miami defensive back commitment finished third in the 200-meter with a personal-record 21.63-second time, anchored a pair of winning relays in the 4×100-meter (43.11) and 4×400-meter (3:26.30) and led off a third-place 4×200-meter relay (1:29.96).

The notable 2025 prospect on the rise, including a Louisiana Tech offer, recorded a personal-record 22-09.25 long jump to finish second in the event and joined Conner in the ninth-place 4×100-meter relay.
McKennis Savoie — 6-2 WR — North Central (2023)
The multisport standout, fresh off another basketball state championship, finished fourth in the long jump with a season-best 22-03.00 and fifth in the triple jump with a personal-record 42-06.00, as well as anchoring the Hurricanes’ season-best 4×100-meter (45.16), which finished eighth.

The graduating linebacker and fullback finished fifth in the shot put with a 43-10.50.
