Continue ReadingLast season, Pen Argy would go 5-6 including 4-6 in conference play, a slow start to the season leaving a mark on their season. After losing four of their first five games, the Green Knights rebounded really well down the stretch of the regular season. They would win four of their last six games including wins over Minersville, Schuylkill Haven, and Panther Valley. A rather young team, the Green Knights didn’t have a ton of experience last season but as the season progressed and more and more players got more reps under their belt, you could see the progress being made. By the end of their season, they were a totally different team than they opened up with.

2023 Season Outlook
To be honest, Pen Argyl is not losing all that much. Now, they are losing a few seniors but when it comes down to production, it’s the trio we have listed above. Those three will be hard to replace, we’re not going to deny that but amongst offseason profiles we’ve done this offseason, this one is possibly the lightest we’ve seen when it comes to production loss. With that, there’s a ton of experience returning for the Green Knights and that is only going to benefit them greatly this upcoming fall. We expect them to take a nice step from their performance last season and expect them to be near the top of their division and could be competing for a district title this season as well.
